Objective:DDH patients with total hip arthroplasty, acetabular height is one of the main factors affecting the limb length. At present, most scholars would place the cup in the true acetabulum or near the location of the true acetabulum, so as to maintain the length of the length of the limbs and lower limbs. Americans JF Crowe pointed out that the vertical distance from the upper edge of the femoral head and neck intersection of the femoral head with the lower edge of the ischial tuberosity and the iliac crest the highest point of the ratio of vertical distance of about20%. Measurement and analysis of188cases of the northern Chinese standard anteroposterior pelvic film femoral head height and pelvic height ratio to see if the same with westerners.Methods:From March2011to June2011, we collected188cases of out-patient cases of healthy adults,80men (160hips), with an average age of41years (25years old to68years),108women (216hips)average age of34(21to65years), standard anteroposterior pelvic film shooting, to the edge of the horizontal line through the teardrop as a reference line, measuring the diameter of femoral head (vertical distance from the femoral head and neck junction to the highest point of the femoral head) andpelvic height (from the highest point of the iliac crest to the ischial tuberosity, the lower edge of the vertical distance) recorded in the excel table. Analysis using SPSS statistical software and p <0.05statistically significant. Results:Pelvic height and femoral head height ratio data were analyzed:188patients (376hips)21.8%±0.0128,17.3%,25.7%Male22.5%±0.0110,20.1%,25.7%(standard deviation of0.0110). Women21.3%±0.0112,17.2%,24.2%(standard deviation of0.0112), no statistically significant difference (P>0.05).188patients (376hips) is made, the results of men and22.5%,21.3%for women, and Crowe reported roughly the same proportion of westerners. We also found that men and women was no statistically significant differences.Conclusion:China Northeast people femoral head height and pelvic height ratio and the westerners roughly the same. Chinese can use the Crowe classification of patients with hip dysplasia and provide a good reference for the preoperative evaluation.
