Objective:To study the changes of platelet activation parameters including plasma P-selectin and thromboxane B2 in patients with hyperuricemia. Methods:We selected 60 simple hyperuricemia patients(group A),60 hyperuricemia patients with one or more such as hyperlipemia, diabetes and coronary heart disease(group B),60 healthy controls(group C). P-selectin and thromboxane B2 of all the participants were determined. Difference between the three groups were also carried out.Results:(1)P-selectin levels of group A and group B were significantly higher than those of group C(326.6±48.5,508.3±74.1 vs.206.9±22.6ng/l, both p<0.01). Also P-selectin levels of group B were higher than group A (P<0.01). (2)Similarly, thromboxane B2 in group A and group B were significantly higher than those in group C(65.2±9.4,102.5±16.1 vs.41.9±4.2ng/l, both p<0.01). And thromboxane B2 levels of group B were higher than group A (P<0.01).Conclusions Functions of platelet activation in patients with hyperuricemia is enhanced, which is the risk factor of thrombotic disease. So we need to pay attention to hyperuricemia and carry out early intervention.
