Objective:To observe the clinical effects and endothelin-l(ET-l), thromboxane B2(TXB~2) levels of Kangshuan No.1in patients with unstable angina pectoris and blood stasis syndrome. Evaluate its roles on vascular endothelial function and platelet function in these patients.Methods:40patients diagnosed as unstable angina pectoris (syndrome of blood stasis) were divided into a treatment group (20cases) and a control group (20cases). The patients of control group were treated with western treatment. The treatment group patients were given Kangshuan No.1with the western basic therapy the same as the control group. The two groups were both treated for2weeks. The two groups were compared in angina effect, main symptom scores, syndrome climate effect and plasma levels of ET-1, TXB~2before and after treatment, differences between the two groups were compared.Results:①ngina effect, the treatment group significant effective rate was55%, the total effective rate was80%; the control group, followed by15%,65%. The total effective rate was no significant difference (P>0.05). There was significant difference between the two sets of significant efficiency (P<0.05).②Main symptom scores, two groups compared with before treatment were significantly lower after treatment(P<0.05).The treatment group were better than the control group in improving chest pain and chest tightness(P<0.05), there were no differences statistically in heart palpitations and shortness of breath (P>0.05);③Clinical effects of TCM Syndrome, the treatment group significant effective rate was65%, the total effective rate was90%; the control group, followed by30%,75%. The total effective rate was no significant difference (P>0.05). There is statistical difference between two sets of significant efficiency (P<0.05);④The plasma levels of ET-1(pg/ml) were respectively45.96±11.90,31.45±19.22; the plasma levels of TXB2(pg/ml) were respectively102.98±78.92,24.36±11.74before and after treatment in treatment group; the values of ET-1(pg/ml) were respectively41.06±10.16,44.33±18.40, the values of TXB2(pg/ml) were respectively47.29±26.61,38.63±18.46before and after treatment in control group. Both ET-1and TXB2were significantly lower after treatment in treatment group (P<0.05).No evident changes were observed in the indexes of the control group before and after the treatment (P>0.05). Both ET-1and TXB2were statistically significant between the two groups after treatment (P<0.05)⑤Two sets of safety indicators was no significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusion:The patients with unstable angina pectoris and blood stasis syndrome were treated with Kangshuan No. I. It can not only significantly mitigate the main symptoms, improve the TCM Syndrome and angina effects, but also is sccurity.lt significantly reduced the plasma levels of ET-1and TXB2, which may indicate its vascular endothelial protection and platelet aggregation function.
