Background: The measurement of main fetal growth paremeters by ultrasound can evaluate intrauterine growth of fetal properly and afford a valuable reference to the clinic. We used to refer to overseas standards, which might not suit our country, because different races are different.During the last few years, the diet of pregnant woman changed, the birth of macrosomia increased, the resolution of devices were improved. It might be necessary to update the fetal growth paremeters. Objective: Using ultrasound to construct normal reference centiles and growth curves of biparietal diameter(BPD),head circumference(HC), abdominal circumference(AC) and femur length(FL).Compare them with those datas which were gained by the same team 10 years ago. Methods: In total,1100 normal single birth ranging from 37+1 to 41+6 gestational weeks were included in this study. They have underwent ultrasonographic detection of their main growth paremeters(BPD,HC,AC and FL).Those 2522 times of investigation ranging from 17+1 to 41+6 gestational weeks were individed into 25 groups by gestational age(GA) by taking each continuous 7 days into one group, According to them, correlation and regression analysis was used to find the best-fit regression model and establish best-fit equations to obtain the predicted main fetal sizes using GA as the independent variable and build growth curves. Compare them with the ones gained 10 years ago and make analyses.Results:1 Normal fetal BPD(r=0.971),HC(r=0.969),AC(r=0.974) and FL(r=0.977) were highly positively correlated with GA(P<0.01).2 BPD,AC and FL after 27 gestational weeks mostly increase comparing with the corresponding ones gained 10 years ago.HC after 32 gestational weeks mostly increase comparing with the corresponding ones gained 10 years ago.Conclusions:1 Normal fetal BPD,HC,AC and FL were highly positively correlated with GA.2 The normal reference centiles of main fetal size might afford a valuable reference to the clinic for evaluating intrauterine growth of fetal.3 According to this study,it would be necessary to update the fetal growth paremeters and afford the clinic a more valuable reference.
