Objective: To study dual-source CT in the diagnosis of coronary artery stenosis with meta-analysis, and to provide information for clinical decision. Materials and Methods: The dual-source CT (computed tomography), conventional coronary angiography, coronary artery stenosis, coronary angiography, CAG, coronary stenosis were selected as the search terms, a search in cochrane library, PubMed, OVID, Embase, China National Knowledge, Infrastructure (CNKI), China biological medical literature database was performed to identify relevant Chinese and English literature from January 2006 to December 2010. Following evidence-medical method met the inclusion and exclusion criteria of the original research was performed quality evaluation test for heterogeneity, and then aggregated the weighted sensitivity and specificity, summary receiver operating characteristic (SROC) curve and further evaluation through the area under the curve was calculated the value of dual-source CT for the diagnosis of coronary artery stenosis, and the sensitivity analysis was performed. All articles were evaluated by QUADAS items. Results: A total of 13 studies were eligible for meta-analysis, including 2 articles for Chinese, 11 papers for English. Test for heterogeneity in the process of entering the inclusion criteria found in the literature included in the heterogeneity study, random effects model weighted according to the quantitative summary of the merger and the weighted specificity, sensitivity and corresponding 95% confidence intervals were 0.92 (95% CI 0.91~0.93) and 0. 96 (95% CI 0.95~0.96) , and the area under the SROC curve was 99.06%. This showed that the included studies had good stability. Conclusion: Dual-source CT coronary angiography is a better noninvasive method for coronary artery screening, which showed coronary artery stenosis with higher sensitivity and specificity, and compared to conventional coronary angiography in the diagnosis of coronary artery stenosis that has high consistency, the diagnosis of coronary artery stenosis as a routine examination method has a good clinical value.
