Objective:To discuss the action of vascular endothelical growth factor (VEGF165) on intrace- llular free magnesium of the adjustment mechanism. Methods:The thickness of free [Mg2+]i in HUVECs loaded with fluorescent indicator mag- fura- 2-AM and detected with use of dynamic cation measurence system.Results:VEGF165 significantly increased free [Mg2+](?) in a does-dependent manner inde-pendent of extracellular thickness of Mg2+ and intracellular of free Ca2+ and this effect could be blocked by tyrosine kinase pretreatment with inhibitor tyrosine.Conclusion:VEGF165 may cause via KDR-dependent signaling pathways nduce of the Mg2+ storehouse to release free Mg2+.
