| Objective:To observe the dynamical changes of cerebral edema caused by large area cerebral infarction used by mannitol and Tongfu Mixture.Methods:From December 2009 to June 2010,60 patients of qualified large area cerebral infarction were randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group. Based on the western medicine routine therapy such as mannitol, the Tongfu Mixture was used in the experimental group. The hemisphere disturbance coefficient and the kidney damage condition were observed before and after the treatment.Results:Before the treatment and in the 30min, 1h,3h after treatment, the hemisphere disturbance coefficient in the affected side were more than those in the normal side. In the 7th day, there was no statistical difference between two sides in this index.In the 1st,3rd and 5th day, the hemisphere disturbance coefficient in the experimental group was lower than it in the control group.In the 7th day, the increase of low density volume around the in infarct focus was more than previous condition. Meanwhile, this increase in the experiment group was superior to that in the control group. After the treatment, the symptoms of kidney damage patients in the experiment group were alleviated. However, these indices in the control group were aggravated.Conclusions:â‘ he secondary brain edema after large area cerebral infarction can be improved by the mannitol and Tongfu Mixture. This therapy could protect the kindey damage in the treatment.â‘¡BORN-BE non-invasive dynamic monitoring can dynamic monitor and evaluate brain edema after cerebral infarction sensitively. |
