Although chemotherary and radiotherapy developed rapidly, but for many patients with recurrent pleural effusion is still not the desired results. Further elaborated in the medical treatment of advanced lung cancer complicated by characteristics of malignant pleural effusion, the accumulation of experience for further study, and ultimately to improve the quality of life in patients with pleural effusion of lung cancer with long-term survival of tumor and prolong life purpose.Research methods:This is a prospective stochastic comparison research.60 patients qualified for lung cancer pleural effusion were randomly divided into 2 square treatment group(observation group) 30 cases of pleural perfusion with cisplatin(control group) 30 cases. Response evaluation criteria in accordance with, respectively, the two groups the first and second courses of treatment efficacy, quality of life, body weight change before and after treatment, and toxicity of each group were compared. Using SPSS 15.0 package, according to data type, the count data by chi square test, measurement data using test, rank sum test using ranked data.Research results:①general information, treatment before the two groups in gender, average age, family history, smoking history, condition and other aspects of treatment were not significantly different(P> 0.05), comparable.②treatment group the first and second course of treatment the total effective rate was 66.67% and 80.00% in the control group were 66.66% and 63.33%, the first course of treatment showed no significant difference( P>0.05 ), not statistically significant; second course of treatment there was significant difference ( P<0.05 ), the TCM group than in the control group had a good effect, there are comparable.③quality of life assessment in the treatment group the first and second course of clinical benefit rate(increase+stable)were 93.34% and 96.67% in the control group were 72.23% and 53.33%, the statistical treatment, there was significant difference ( P<0.05 ).④the part of weight change, treatment group the first and second course of treatment were respectively 93.66% and 94.34% in the contral group were 56.66% and 56.66%,the two groups, there was significant difference( P<0.05 ).⑤the part of adverse reactions, the Chinese group is almost non-toxic side effscts after treatment, which is also the biggest advantages of traditional Chinese medicine; treatment group main side effects were gastrointestinal symptoms and bone marrow suppression caused by chemotherapy drugs considered, the more significant adverse reactions leucopenia, the first and second course of treatment for the occurrence rate of 36.67%, respectively, and 53.33%; loss of appetite, the first two courses were 70.00% and 76.67%; the incidence of nausea and vomiting the first and second course of treatment was 50.00%.Research conclusions: Lung cancer on the 2nd side to increase non-small cell lung cancer clinical treatment of malignant pleural effusion, although not significantly improve the efficacy of the first course of treatment, but the second course of treatment was significantly better than the first course of treatment, indicating that advanced lung cancer drug stubborn hard medicine needed application of a long time to display a more significant effect.
