In this paper, through experimental method, the case analysis method, the document-data method and other research method, the research is processed on analysis the body blood lactate change rules of middle and distance race athletes of different training stages and post exercise stage. Thus, we acknowledge detailed information about blood lactate, heart rate recovery rate, and blood clearance rate changes for those athletes of different training stage and make a conclusion on training intermittent time of middle and distance race runners. The main conclusions are as follows:1. As middle and distance race amateurs grow older, their blood lactate peak value rises up as well. Meanwhile, post exercise blood lactate peak value is put backward and body antacid ability is enhanced accordingly.2. The author concludes that at the beginning of the training, college athletes should reduce exercise intensity, retain large amount of exercise and keep training intermittent time at about 9 minutes. Three months later, after proper training exercises, exercise intensity could be increased, and intermittent time should be altered to 8 minutes. After half year systematic training, intermittent time could be reduced to 7 minutes and exercise intensity should be enhanced. But, we should control the amount of exercise in case of over-exercise risks.3. The heart rate recovery rate, the same as blood lactate, will improve as the athletes' sports level increased. A positive correlation has been found between heart rate recovery rate and sports-involvement tenure, namely in the ordinary course, heart rate recovery rate grows as sports-involvement tenure grows.4. Athletes of different training stage have different heart rate thresholds. According to the survey, the heart rate threshold is 164.14 at the beginning of training. Three months later, it increased to 171.07. Half year later, it reached 184.93. Athletes at high level could maintain the highest heart rate thresholds at 198.06.5. We advised to use 168+9.7 as best heart rate threshold (heart rate and blood lactate is used in measuring middle and distance race training). Athletes, who are trained under the heart rate critical value, will get high oxygen absorption ability. The intermittence time should be kept control between 7 to 9 minutes, because the body of athletes could recover soon and be easily turned to another training course.6. According to the analysis we have made above, we could find there still exists a large difference between college amateur and high-level athletes, especially on the aspects of heart rate recovery rate and lactate clearance rate. As training time increased, heart rate recovery rate and lactate clearance rate are almost increased at the same time. And the blood lactate peak value appearance time will put off as training time increases and the peak value will enlarge as training limit time increases.
