Objective: Acute pancreatitis (acute pancreatitis) is caused by a variety of conditions characterized by activated trypsin within the pancreas, leading to self-digestion of pancreatic tissue, edema, hemorrhage or necrosis of the inflammatory response. In this study, we compare the efficacy, complications, patient recovery and cost of domestic and imported octreotide acetate in treatment of acute pancreatitis in order to exlpore the performance-price ratio of the two kinds of drugs, so as to optimize therapeutic regimen, save health resources and guide the rational use of drugs. Methods: 182 patients with mild acute pancreatitis absorbed into Clinical path and corresponding to diagnosis standards were selected from September 2009 to June 2011 in the First Hospital of Jilin University. Among the enrolled cases, 120 cases were treated with domestic octreotide while 62 cases were treated with imported octreotide. The clinical remission rate, prevention of complications and costs of all the patients were compared. All the data were organized by Excel software and analyzed by SPSS16.0 statistical software in which measurement data was expressed by ( X±S ) and the measurement data was compared by t-test while count data was expressed by rate and compared by X2 test ( P <0.05 meaning the statistically significant difference)Results:182 cases of MAP patients selected general information: before treatment were obvious clinical signs and symptoms, the statistical analysis, import and domestic groups in the age group, gender, etiology and disease severity differences were not statistically significant ( P> 0.05). Imported and domestic group AP group after the treatment of clinical symptoms and signs disappeared situation analysis: whether imported or domestic group group, the vast majority of patients after treatment AP symptoms and signs disappeared; different in patients treated with the different clinical symptoms and signs of relief rate at 92.3% or more. Statistical analysis showed that comparison of two treatments to ease symptoms and signs was no significant difference in rates (P> 0.05). Import group (A) and the domestic group (B) white blood cells before and after treatment in patients with MAP, serum amylase, urine amylase, calcium, glucose, albumin of laboratory tests. The results showed that A, B AP patients in both treatment groups the number of patients positive laboratory test results with the treatment time showed a decreasing trend. Statistical analysis showed that, whether imported or domestic group of the same set of laboratory test after different treatment time, the positive detection rate differences, and gradually decreased (P <0.05); treatment group after 10 days of imports and domestic group of AP patients the laboratory test results were not statistically significant (P> 0.05). Imported and domestic group MAP group after treatment and died of complications were compared, the two treatment groups showed no deaths occurred. Statistical analysis showed that imported and domestic group MAP group after treatment, the incidence of complications in patients with no difference (P> 0.05), which import group treatment of complications in 2 cases (2.5%), domestic group 3 patients (3.22%). Octreotide acetate, acetic acid imports and domestic Comparison of octreotide treatment: the treatment group after the import and domestic group evaluation of the efficacy of the recovery time was no significant difference (P> 0.05). The treatment process, the import of group, no cases of adverse reactions occur, domestic group only 1 case of adverse reaction symptoms. The lowest treatment cost estimates to compare different treatment group differences in cost of treatment, the results of import and domestic group AP group patients were significantly different cost comparison (P <0.05). Conclusion: 1. Octreotide acetate treatment of domestic and imported acute pancreatitis with similar efficacy of octreotide acetate, can significantly ease the patient's clinical symptoms and signs, speed up blood, urine amylase, blood WBC and other laboratory indicator of recovery; 2. Domestic octreotide acetate treatment of acute pancreatitis has a low complication rate, and no mortality; 3. Octreotide acetate made adverse reactions in patients with acute pancreatitis, security is better; 4. Domestic octreotide acetate is effective in patients with acute pancreatitis, and low cost.
