Reseach On The Treatment Of Gastroptosis (Syndrome Of Yang Deficiency Of Spleen And Kidney) By Modified WenShen JuXian Decoction

PURPOSETo observe the clinical effectiveness of Modified WenShen JuXian Decoction (syndrome of yang deficiency of spleen and kidney) for treatment of Gastroptosis, and explore the mechanism of it from theorety and provide science basis for it.METHODS1.64 cases of patients for treatment of Gastroptosis in Hubei hospital of Chinese medicine from December 2008 to December 2009 were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.Each group was 32 people. Two groups of patients with age, gender, course, X-ray exam, and the symptom of Chinese medicine were no significant difference (P>0.05).2.The treatment group was given with Modified WenShen JuXian Decoction, (The prescription were composed with Huangqi 30g,Shudi 20g, Baizhu 20g, Fuzi 5g, Shangyao 20g, Zhishi 10g, Chengpi 15g, Laifuzi 15g, Jineijin 15g, Chaihu 6g, Shengma 15g, Zhigancao 6g), these Chinese medicine were cooked with 400ml water everyday and were Feed 200ml half an hour after breakfast and dinner;The control group was given with BuZhongYiQi PILL (The prescription were composed with Zhihuangqi 200g,Dangshen 60g, Zhigancao 100g, Chaobaizhu 60g, Danggui 60g, Shengma 60g, Chaihu 60g chenpi60g, Crushed into fine powder, sift, and mix. Added refining honey 100～120g and concentrated decoction of ginger and jujube into the powder per 100g, made into small pi11) as method above. The two groups were observed respectively in safety (blood, urine, fecal routine examination; liver and kidney function; ECG; possible adverse reactions)and efficacy (Vital signs and symptoms and X-ray exam).3.Statistical analysis methods:Raw data was analysed with SPSS13.0 statistical software. Level of information with Ridit test, x2test with count data, measurement data with t test.RESULTS1. The treatment group,3 cases were recovered,23 cases were obviously effective,5 cases were effective and 1 case was ineffective, the total effective rate was 97%.While the control one,2 cases were recovery,17 cases were obviously effective,8 cases were effective and 5 cases were ineffective,the total effective rate was 84%.The clinical recovery rate, obviously effective rate and the total effective rate of the treatment group were higher than the control one (P<0.05).2. The TCM total score and the X-ray exam after treatment of two groups, the treatment group have significantly different with the control one(P<0.05), and the two groups have made significant improvement in TCM total score and the X-ray exam than before (P<0.05).3. Compared with the control group, The symptoms of the treatment group such as epigastric fullness, poor appetite, epigastric pain, lack of power and eructation were obviously improved;And The symptoms of enterorrhea or constipation, nauseating,the two groups had no significantly different, while the total effective rate of the treatment group were higher than the control one.CONCLUSIONThe study proved that the Modified WenShen JuXian Decoctio have a better clinical efficacy than the BuZhongYiQi PILL in treatment ofGastroptosis (syndrome of yang deficiency of spleen and kidney). Analyzed with the theory of modern pharmacology, Modified WenShen JuXian Decoction may have many functions, such as anti fatigue, adjustment of immunity, Gastrointestinal motility in two-way adjustment and so on. It is worth further researching and popularizing as the Modified WenShen JuXian Decoction have acertain effect in the treatment of Gastroptosis (syndrome of yang deficiency of spleen and kidney).
