Chemical Constituents Of Swertia Yunnanensis Burk And Pharmacological Research

In this research, the chemical composition of Swertia Swertia yunnanensis burk has been systematically studied, and the pharmacological effects of related compounds was also researched. Silica gel column chromatography, gel column chromatogragpy have been used to separate and purify compounds which were obtained from the extraction layer of alcohol extract of Yunnan Swertia. With nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and Mass Spectrometry(MS), we can identified the chemical structure of these twelve compounds, which are Xanthone (Ⅰ),Ursolic Acid (Ⅱ),Oleanic acid (Ⅲ),Swertimarin (Ⅳ),Fatty Acid (Ⅴ,Ⅵ),2-hydroxy-3-O-β-glucopyranosyl-benzoic acid (Ⅶ),D-Mannitol (Ⅷ),Sterol (Ⅸ),Triperpenoids (Ⅹ),Andrographolide (Ⅺ),Betaine (Ⅻ). CompoundⅪ,Ⅶwas isolated from the family Gentianaceae for the first time, and compoundⅧwas firstly reported from Swertia.Furthermore, the pharmacological effect of Swertia yunnanensis Burk extract was studied. An anti-inflammatory experimental research of compoundⅡand the extract was carried out in rats, which is a basis for further study.
