[OBJECTIVE]To investigate the effect of 595-nm pulsed dye laser and long pulsed 1064-nm neodymiun:yttrium aluminum garnet laser(Nd:YAG) on the capillary hemangioma of chicken combs model.Compare with the pending laser treatment,the gross appearance of the chicken comb,the number of blood vessels in tissues, the concentrations of the vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) have been changed after laser treatment And explore the laser on the efficacy of skin capillary hemangioma.[METHODS]Choosing the leghorn combs of SPF level,and treating with 595-nm pulsed dye laser and long pulsed 1064-nm neodymiun:yttrium aluminum garnet laser(Nd:YAG),then observe the morphological and histological changs of the combs.And ELISA method was used to determinate quantitative changes of VEGF of the combs. Dividing the experiment into four groups: the control group (A group), the flash lamp-pumped pulsed dye laser treatment groups (B,C group) and Nd: YAG laser treatment group (D group).The treatment was carried out every 6 weeks for 3 times Samples were collected immediately, one week after lasers therapy.[RESULT](1)The red crests of the PDL laser groups and the Nd:YAG laser group have significantly diluted by three times after the laser treatment.(2)All the results of the control group remain normal in the whole experiment.In the PDL laser groups,the number of the superfical vascular reduced,the vascular diameters were significantly smaller than before, and the endothelial cells decreased significantly, or even disappear after triple treatments.The number of the capillary in the shallow and middle,part of the deep of the dermis was obviously reduced, the vascular diameters were significantly smaller than before, and the endothelial cells decreased significantly, the cortex layer and the vessel wall were thinner than before after triple treatments in the Nd:YAG laser group.(3)The number of capillaries of Nd:YAG laser group and PDL laser groups were reduced after triple treatments.Among them,the Nd:YAG laser group was more obvious than PDL laser groups.The statistical calculation is statistically significant(P<0.05).(4) The concentrtion of VEGF in Nd:YAG laser group and PDL laser groups were declined after third treatments.Among them,the Nd:YAG laser group was more obvious than PDL laser groups.The statistical difference is statistically significant(P<0.01).[CONCLUSION] It is effective to use 595-nm pulsed dye laser and long pulsed 1064-nm Nd: YAG laser to treat skin hemangioma,After triple treatments, the number of the capillary,the concentration of VEGF have reduced significantly.And the statistical calculation is statistically significant(P<0.05). We indicate the laser therapy may have an impact on the VEGF experssion and capillary,but the specific mechanism needs further study.
