The Analysis Of The Short-Term Outcome Of The Total Hip Replacement

Objective To analyze the short﹣term outcome of the total hip replacement of Wuhan Dragonbio tested hip joint prosthesis,compared with the international mainstream brands of hip joint products.Methord To reserch 26 cases ( 26 hips ) of the total hip replacement of Dragonbio tested hip joint prosthesis, treated by the same group surgeons from March 2009 to April 2010, compared with 26 hips of the international mainstream brands of hip joint products completed by our department during the same period. The tested hip joint prosthesis have already been submitted to the ethics committee,and have been approved and signed agreement. The research group and the control group were assessed by the preoperative and postoperative Harris scores, the average preoperative score of the research group was 37.6(±4.32), and the control group was 38.7(±4.16). All the patients were followed up for 17 months.Result To statistic the postoperative Harris of the research group and the control group respectively afer 1 week, 4 weeks, 3 months and half a year. The average postoperative Harris scores of the research group were 82.4(±3.92)afer 1 week, 87.9(±3.12) 4 weeks, 91.7(±2.84) 3 months and 93.8(±2.65) half a year respectively; the average preoperative Harris scores of the control group were 83.7(±3.73)afer 1 week, 88.7(±3.23) 4 weeks, 92.5(±2.76) 3 months and 94.1(±2.59) half a year respectively.Both were improved obviously compared with the preoperative conditions(,t<0.05),there was no postoperative statistical significance between the two groups (p>0.05). There was 1 case replacement joint dearticulation in the control group after operation, no deep vein thrombus of lower limbe, infection, lower limbs length inequality, siatic nerve damage and other complications.Conclusion Total hip replacement can remove with joint pain obviously, improve joint function; for femoral neck fracture patients can early recovery activities; avoid the complications caused by prolonged bed; and make patients improve the quality of life after operation distinctly. Dragonbio tested hip joint prosthesis have no obvious difference with the current international mainstream brand ones in the early curative effects.
