The Analyze Of Risk Factors Of Urinary Fistula After Hypospadias Surgery

Objective The aim of this study was to find the risk fators after ananlyzing the reasons of the fistula after hypospadias sugery. For these influencing factors, the method of surgical treatment which was rational, standardized and scientific was suggested. In order to reduce the incidence of urinary fistula and improve the success rate of surgery.Methods The patients of hypospadias were enrolled in our study, who had urethroplasty surgery in the department of pediatric surgery of the Affiliated Hospital of Ningxia Medical University, from October 2008 to April 2011. After statistical analyzing 13 risk fators of urinary fistula, obtained the main factors of urinary fistula after hypospadias sugery.Results 162 cases were treated, from October 2008 to April 201. There were 46 cases with postoperative urinary fistula, the incidence was 28.4%. 13 risk factors were statistically analyzed by logistic regression, which were likely to caused the urinary fistula. The relative correlation of the fisula with hypospadias degree, wound healing and period of surgeons who engaged in this operation were obtained. The higher the degree of hypospadias, the worse the wound to heal, the surgeons who engaged in this surgery with less years, the occurrence of urinary fistula was higher.Conclusion The main factors which effected the incidence of postoperative fistula of hypospadias in our region were hypospadias type, wound healing and the surgical period of surgeons. Which suggested us that, in order to improve the success rate, we should choose rational surgery method, standardized management peroperative and and accomplish surgery by experienced surgeons.
