Objective: To observe in rats whether or not iron deficiency during early life can infect The health of offspring bom; To observe the iron malnutrition during early life whether or not infect adulthood biochemical abnormalities with the lipid metabolism; to explore The correlation study between iron malnutrition during early life and health in later life of adult rats. Methods: 14 healthy female Wistar rats were selected randomly.fed one week after adaptation, mated with the same healthy adult Wistar male rats two weeks. After that female rats were randomly divided into three groups, diet intervention began. First group was fed with a low iron diet (iron 14mg/kg), the second group (control group)with the normal iron diet (iron 274mg/kg). the third group (iron-rich group) fed iron-rich diet (iron 1230mg/kg).during the diet intervention hematologic indicators, iron and other related indicators were tested. pups continued intervention after weaning last 20 weeks. To Dynamic observe pups during lactation, growth and development period, adult (balance of) weight change. Intervention into the normal diet of the end of the balance of that period, rats were detected during the balance of hematologic indicators, indicators of iron metabolism, lipid metabolism and other related indicators, observe the histopathological changes in the cardiovascular system.Results:(1) rat model of iron malnutrition were successfully established. weaning pups the end of detection and intervention in low iron blood indices suggest the phenomenon of young mice with iron deficiency, ferritin detected the end of intervention were significantly different (p<0.01.) (2) low iron group pups on body weight in the intervention group than in pups of control group body weight was lower, but the final balance of body weight in low iron offspring than the other two groups, the experimental pups during the low iron the fastest growing weight, catch-up growth phenomenon occurs. (3) during the balance period, the TG,TC,LDL, the young of the low iron group was higher than the control group (p<0.05); HDL the young of the low iron group was lower than the control group (p<0.05);SOD,FFA value of the experimental group were higher than the control group (p<0.05); MDA of the rich iron group were higher than the control group (p=0.00); (4) at the end of Balance period, Plasma ferritin of low iron group of young mice with high serum ferritin, comparisons control group there were were significantly different (p= 0.00).(5) HE staining aorta to the low iron group was seen under offspring aortic endothelial lipid deposition and foam cells in fatty streak formation.。Conclusions:(1) lack of iron stores in early life after the transfer of iron rich diet in the adult offspring showing strong absorption of iron, can cause high plasma ferritin. On the contrary, the life of adult offspring of early iron overload encountered after the switch relatively poor absorption of iron in order to maintain the body's iron balance relatively.(2) making the preliminary conclusions that iron malnutrition in early life is one of the the risk factors of lipid metabolism disorder in adult offspring.(3) verified that high ferritin can induce lipid metabolism disorders, may be lead to cardiovascular disease further.
