Objictive:Linking with the characteristics of the diabetes that diabetes is irreversible and need well control of the blood sugar level all the time as well as good management to control the disease,targeting the shortcomings of the present passive diagnosis and treatment models for diabetes,through analyze the requirement of the doctors and patients during the course of diagnosis,treatment and management of diabetes,to design and bring about a set of diabetes management models which is based on modern computer information technology and is in line with the objective laws of diabetes long-term management to provide the tools necessary to manage diabetes patients and improve the control rates of diabetes scientifically and efficiently.Method: First,we analyze the widely-used diagnosis and treatment model of diabetes,then find out the shortcomings of the model and follow the the objective laws of diabetes prevention and treatment to analyz the requirement of the doctors and patients during the course of diagnosis,treatment and management of diabetes. Through the analysis of diagnosis,trentment and management,functional requirements , information requirements , performance requirements of the software system , then design the general structure , network model ,system-processing process,database of the system,by taking advantage of modern computer technology and programming technology and using the SQL Server 2005 as database management system to research and develop highly efficient information management system of diabetes. Result:After rounded analysis,design and application of the information management system of diabetes,the system changs the current management models of diabetes from passive mode to active mode and improves the quality of prevention ,diagnosis and treatment of disease. Additionally,the system helps to monitore dynamically the changes of individual and reminde physicians to notice the changes and risk of disease and take effective measures timely to reduce or slow down the complications. In addition to all of this,it also helps to improve the quality of health education which will be more targeted and personalized,build life-long computer-based patient record through which we can input,add,delete and store and query the information as well as output data source which can be used for other data processing tools.Conclusion:The information management system of diabetes which has better monitored and managed the conditions of diabetes has not only resolved the standard computerized information management of diabetes and its complications,but also changed the traditional diagnosis and treatment model of diabetes.Additionally,the system has also established a management model which is in line with the diagnosis and treatment rules and is very helpful for the doctors to control the disease. And what's more,the system has also improved the health educational level of diabetes and well-targeted to achieve targets. In addition to all of this,the system is helpful for physicians to collect accurate science data helpf to raise the level of scientific research.
