The study shows that electrocardiogram(ECG) and pulse wave signals contain abundant of human physiological parameters ,and these parameters are important and basic. These physiological parameters with daily monitoring for chronic disease detection, and the elderly health and heart disease treatment all have the important clinical significance. In addition, these physiological parameters, chronically being monitored, can still help us understand the change trend of human health status, and master some information that some disease can impact on human health. Therefore, domestic and foreign scholars have been devoted to the collection and analysis of ECG and pulse signals.Some of the monitor systems have been mostly using personal computers or industrial PC as waveform display and data processing controller. They are hard carried and have big volume. Meanwhile, some detection system directly uses MCU as the guardianship system of processor, but the function is relatively single, and the data storage is too small to use.With the development of the micro processing technology and electronic technology, this provides a new platform for the medical technology, prompting the family medical treatment to become a new direction in the medical history. Therefore, on the existing basis of the development of detection and diagnosis of the ECG and pulse signal, developing the system of ECG and pulse signal acquisition and analysis with family characteristics is a very real and significant issue.This system adopts ARM S3C2440 as main controlling chip SD card as Mass Storage Facility and display the real-tine waveform of ECG and pulse wave signals through the LCD panel. Designed a dynamic ECG and Pulse Wave acquisition system, and used to collect 24-hour ECG and Pulse Wave signals. Using this collecting data, we can find dynamic relationship between ECG and Pulse Wave, which would be helpful for health care and treatment of disease. At the same time, it has a small volume, abundant function and convenient operation characteristic, and can easily used in our daily life.The entire system is divided into hardware and software. Hardware includes analog module and digital module. Analog module mainly includes preamplification, band-pass filtering and level adjustment circuit. These units complete analog amplify and filter of signals. Digital module includes micro-controller circuit, external storage circuit, LCD display circuit and interface communication circuit. It can include AD conversion and digital signal processing. Software system is completed by C language programming under specialized development environment of ADS 1.2 Workbench.In this paper, above content is discussed in detail. Results from a series experiments show that, the performance of this system is well and the signals collected by the system meet the designed requirements. This work will establish a foundation for late research.
