Abstract/Summary:
Objective:To investigate the Chinese Korean Medical Prescription, "Xiangfuzibawutang" on the spleen urinary D-xylose excretion rate, urine amylase content, rate of small intestine propulsion and spleen index rate, and to explore the traditional deconction on rat spleen absorption-promoting effect and mechanism action mechanism, for providing animal experimental evidence for clinical medication.Methods:The method of subcutaneous injection of reserpine, rat spleen model, rats were randomly divided into 6 groups:normal control group, spleen model group, positive control group (lactobacillus tablets), Xiangfuzibawutang high dose group, middle dose group, low dose group. Phloroglucinol method used to measure D-xylose urinary excretion rate; use of iodine content of Determination of urinary amylase; rats were sacrificed after the application of physical methods, calculated to promote the spleen index and rate of rat small intestine. And rat food intake, stool frequency, character, and spontaneous activity.Results:The Xiangfuzibawutang high, medium and low dose D-xylose excretion was significantly higher than that of spleen deficiency syndrome group and the positive control group (P<0.05); Xiangfuzibawutang high, medium and low-dose urinary amylase enzymes were significantly lower than Model group and the positive control group (P<0.01); Xiangfuzibawutang high, medium and low dose group was lower than small intestine deficiency model group (P<0.05), in the small intestine to promote low-dose group was lower than the positive control group, with significant differences (P<0.05); Xiangfuzibawutang high and low dose group was significantly higher than the spleen index model group(P<0.01), spleen index of high-dose group than the positive control group, with significant differences (P<0.05).Conclusion:1. Xiangfuzibawutang can significantly improve the spleen urinary excretion rate of D-xylose, lower urinary amylase to reduce the rate of small intestine, has a significant function to promote intestinal absorption; 2.Xiangfuzibawutang can increase the spleen index, immune regulatory function; 3. Xiangfuzibawutang deficiency due to reduced food intake in rats caused a recovery effect, significant improvement in diarrhea and spleen deficiency rats increased spontaneous activity. The mechanism may be related with the regulating function of the gastrointestinal mucosa, spleen model of intestinal absorption' mechanisms for preparation and needs further study.
