Objective:To investigate the serum levels of sTREM-1 and IL-17 in patients with rheumatoid arthritis and analyze the possible function of them. Methods:The serum levels of(?)114 cases of RA patients(46 steole (?) RA patients),39 cases of other antoimmune disease patients (no-RA group) and 32 cases of healthy controls was detected by ELISA.The serum levels of RHF, CRP, anti-CCP,C3 and ESR was detected as well. To analyze the relevance of IL-17, sTREM-1 and RA disease as well as other RA experiment indexs in according to the groups respectively and course of disease. Results:The serum levels of IL-17 and sTREM-1 was significantly increased in RA group and non-RA group compared with the healthy control group (P<0.05);the levels of sTREM-1 was significant difference between active RA and stable RA patients (P<0.05);there was no significant difference between IL-17,sTREM-1and course of disease in RA group, P values were 0.50,0.64. The serum levels of sTREM-1 was closely correlated with the levels of CRP, ESR, IL-17 and disease activity.Conclusion:sTREM-1 may become one of the criterias of active inflammation in RA; the levels of IL-17 in active RA was higher than in stable RA, but did not reach statistical significance. Synergy may exist between sTREM-1 and IL-17.
