Objecctive To evaluat the influence of different antipsychotic drugs on social function in acute patients with schizophrenia and to explore the social function's recovery factors what can influence them. Methods Atotal of 240 patiens met with the criteria of DSM-Ⅳfor schizophrenia were randomly divided into typical antipsychotics group (includeChlorpromazine,Perphenazine,Sulpiride,Trifluoperazine),atypical antipsychotics group(includ Risperidone, Olanzapine, Quetiapine) and paliperidone extended-release tablets group for the treatment of 24 weeks. They were assessed with Positive and Negative Symptoms Scales(PANSS),Personal and Social Porformance(PSP)and Treatment Emergent symptom Scale(TESS)in baseline,4th weekend 12th weekend,24th weekend after treatment.Using SPSS18.0 to analysis the database by T-test, ANOVA,Chi-square test,Fisher's exact test, Ridit test, correlation and stepwise regression analysis.when P<0.05 confirmed significantly. Results 1.In all patients, the total and factors scores of PANSS in the 4th weekend, 12th weekend and 24th weekend of treatment were all lower than those in baseline, and the scores were lower by time flies. At the same group, the scores were significantly lower than those in baseline after treatment (t=13.68~83.66,P<0.01). In addition to the positive sores of paliperidone extended-release tablets group, other factors and total scores of PANSS were all significantly lower than those in typical antipsychotics group and atypical antipsychotics group at the same time (F=18.24~87.33, P<0.05或P<0.01).In the 12th weekend and 24th weekend, other factors and total scores of PANSS were all significantly lower than those in typical antipsychotics group except for the positive sores of paliperidone extended-release tablets group and atypical antipsychotics group(F= 4.75~132.1, P<0.05或P<.01), the total and other factors scores of paliperidone extended-release tablets group were lower than those in typical antipsychotics group, but there are no statistically significant.(P>0.05).2.By comparing these three groups'PSP scores at different times in the same group or those at the same time in different groups before and after treatment, the scores of PSP in these three groups were all significantly higher than those in baseline besides those in the 12th weekend and 24th weekend of typical antipsychotics group (t=-67.95~44.91, P<0.01). In the 4th weekend, the scores of PSP in paliperidone extended-release tablets group were significantly higher than those in typical antipsychoticsgroup and atypical antipsychotics group (F=188.33~1361.92, P<0.01), in the 12th weekend and 24th weekend the scores of PSP in atypical antipsychotics were higher than those in typical antipsychotics(P<0.05),but lower than those in paliperidone extended-release tablets (P<0.01).3.The scores of PSP are significant difference among different marital status of schizophrenia (F=0.865, P<0.05),the patients who married had the highest score, un married take second place and others had the lowest score; The scores of PSP are significant difference among different occupations of schizophrenia (P<0.05),the scores from high to low is ministrator, student, worker, famer and others. The scores of PSP significant different among education levels of the patients, bachelor had the highest score, and under Grundschule had the lowest score; The Paranoid type patients have the highest score, after them the scores of PSP were in Undifferentiated schizophrenia>heboid schizophrenia>hebephrenic schizophrenia; The scores of PSP are significant difference between high support level group and low support level group(t=-16.10, P<0.01)4.Correlation analysis showed:the scores of PSP were negatively related to the score of positive symptoms, the score of negative symptoms, the score of general pathology and the score of TESS, were positive related to the type of drugs, married and so on (P<0.05)5.By using regression analysis to analysis the factors that can influence the patients'social function, the result showed that the main factors influencing social function of schizophrenia were the type of drugs, the scores of negative symptoms, the score of TESS, the score of SSRS2.10,course and the type of diease (P<0.05). Conclusion1.The social function can be improved with antipsychotic drugs in acute phase, the atypical antipsychotics, especially for paliperidone extended-release tablets group,is superior to typical antipsychotics on social function's improvement.2.The social function of schizophrenia would have significantly correlation with the score of negative symptoms, the score of TESS and course.Choose the right drug and get high level support are protective factors of social function.
