Chinese Classification Of Primary Liver Cancer With CT And DSA Imaging Findings Correlation

Objective:To study the diagnostic value of CT and DSA for PHC, discuss the correlation between the radiology diagnosis and its TCM symptom types.Materials:41 PHC patients from December 2007 to April 2010 in Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Jiangsu Province which were already diagnosed by clinical and radiological examination.16 cases of AFP are higher than normal, and all patients make liver CT (scan +enhancement) and DSA examinations, which there was no more than 14 days between the two methods. Its radiology features, including lesion size, number, density, degree of enhancement of tumor blood supply (vascular tumors and tumor blood vessel staining characteristics) are detailed recorded, and at the same time the TCM symptom types are made by specialists according to TCM theory.Results:Of the 41 cases, differentiations damp and hot accumulation type is 7 cases, Qi stagnation and blood stasis type is 9, liver stasis and deficiency of the spleen is 12, and Yin deficiencies of liver and kidneys is 13. Four kinds different TCM types and tumor size of radiology image has statistically significant, but has no correlation with its numbers. The tumor type of Yin deficiencies of liver and kidneys are more larger than liver stasis and deficiency of the spleen and Qi stagnation and blood stasis type; there is no difference is statistically significant of the size between Damp and hot accumulation type patients with Qi stagnation and blood stasis type patients. CT signs of unenhanced lesions and the degree of enhancement about different TCM types have no statistical significance. In the DSA, the TCM types is related with the characteristics of the lesions and stained with blood, the type of damp and hot accumulation is mainly supplied by trunk and branches, and more severe manifestations of dyeing; the type of Qi stagnation and blood stasis is mainly supplied by branches and blood capillaries, and with the branch is given priority to,and as a branch mainly showed moderate staining, liver stasis and deficiency of the spleen is the trunk, branches,and mainly trunk, more performance for moderate to severe degree of staining and to re-main, Yin deficiencies of liver and kidneys is mainly trunk, more performance for the severe staining.Conclusion:The graphics features of CT and DSA about Primary hepatic carcinoma have relevance with its different TCM syndrome types, so as to TCM syndrome provide an objective basis for it from the macro to the micro-development, and also promote Chinese and Western Medicine Combination of graphics development.
