Objective:By means of epidemiologic methods,it aims to summarize the relationship of gender,age,family history, disease process and predisposing factors with PD,and distribution of TCM(Traditional Chinese Medicine) syndromes as well as its relationship with the Hoehn-Yahr rating scale and non-motor symptoms of PD,thus finding out the regularity of this distribution to guide clinical trartmentMethods:On the basis of literature study,the data of patients'symptoms and signs are got through four diagnostic methods and data base is established by applying epidemiologic methods.Cluster analysis,descriptive statistics and chi-square test are used for statistic purpose,and the regularity of syndrome is summed up as well as the relationship syndromes with gender,age, family history, disease process and predisposing factors with PD and distribution of TCM syndromes, and the association of different TCM syndromes with the age,disease process, the Hoehn-Yahr rating scale and non-motor symptoms.Results:Among gathered 402 cases,239 are male,while 163 are female age range from 31 to 89 years old.The aged males have a highest morbidity.Almost 8.46 percent of the patients have positive family history.The syndromes can be categorized into five patterns,namely deficiency of liver and kidney syndrome, deficiency of yin and yang syndrome, deficiency of qi and blood syndrome, phlegm-heat wind-movement syndrome and blood stasis wind-movemengt syndrome. Deterioration of the memory is most seen in non-motor symtoms.Conclusion:PD generally manifest with disharmony between deficiency of qi and blood syndrome and deficiency of liver and kidney syndrome.The elderly people have a high morbidity. Phlegm-heat wind-movement syndrome is most commonly seen in youngsters and deficiency of qi and blood syndrome is most commonly seen in middle-aged. The elderly people are more likely to demonstrate blood stasis wind-movemengt syndrome.
