| Objectives:To study the function of Th1/Th2 types cell in HBeAg-negative chronic hepatitis B patients with symdrome of stagnation of liver qi with deficiency of spleen, which can provide related basis for micro syndrome differentiation in HBeAg-negative chronic hepatitis B,and theoretical basis for traditional Chinese medicine in treating patients with HBeAg-negative chronic hepatitis B from the immunological view of point.Methods:20 HBeAg-negative chronic hepatitis B patients with symdrome of stagnation of liver qi with deficiency of spleen/10 HBeAg-positive chronic hepatitis B patients with symdrome of stagnation of liver qi with deficiency of spleen and 10 HBeAg-positive chronic hepatitis B patients with symdrome of [accumulated] damp-heat were selected as study subjects,6 healthy subjects as control group. The levels of the cytokine produced by CD4 cell were measured by flow cytometry. Results:There was difference in IFN-γbetween HBeAg-positive and HBeAg-negative chronic hepatitis B patients with symdrome of stagnation of liver qi with deficiency of spleen (P<0.05); However, there was no difference in IFN-γbetween HBeAg-positive chronic hepatitis B patients with symdrome of stagnation of liver qi with deficiency of spleen and symdrome of [accumulated] damp-heat (P>0.05); There was no significant difference in the levels of IL-4 and IFN-γ/IL-4 among HBeAg-negative chronic hepatitis B patients with symdrome of stagnation of liver qi with deficiency of spleen, HBeAg-positive chronic hepatitis B patients with symdrome of stagnation of liver qi with deficiency of spleen and symdrome of [accumulated] damp-heat (P>0.05); There was significant difference in expression of IFN-γ,IL-4 and IFN-γ/IL-4 between the experimental group and the control group, especially in the difference of level of IL-4 and IFN-γ/IL-4(P<0.05).Conclusion:There was significant difference between healthy subjects and patients with chronic hepatitis B in TH1/TH2 imbalance and the latter expressed TH2 fuction obviously; Patients with HBeAg-negative chronic hepatitis B and that with HBeAg-positive chronic hepatitis B have immunological differences among the same syndrome. Compared with HBeAg-positive chronic hepatitis B patients with symdrome of [accumulated]damp-heat, there was not difference of the functions of Thl and Th2 cells in patients with symdrome of stagnation of liver qi with deficiency of spleen. |
