Tubberculosis is harmful to people's health greatly and one of the primary contagious diseases which require servere control. About one-third people all over the world have been infected with tuberculous mycobacteria. Tuberculosis is related to the economic level, disproportionate to our GDP. Its other main features are as follows:tuberculosis easily infects people especially the youth with high death and drug resistance rate. Considerable discrepancy arises related to tuberculosis among different areas. Henan province is one of those areas which suffer from the disease severely. AIDS (Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome) is bad for people's health. Likewise, Henan suffered from AIDS much especially among those counties where people donated blood for pay around the year 1995. However, AIDS victims can be infected with tuberculosis easily. The mixed infection will aggravate the disease causing the death easily. It is reported that around one -third AIDS victims die of the mixed infection all over the world. Its main mechanism is as follows:the HIV infection will cause CD4+T count to reduce markedly, as a consequence, our power against MTB (Mycobacterium tuberculosis) weakens, and active tuberculosis occurs due to endogenous degradation of recessive lesion and exogenous re-infection. Likewise, for the patients with the mixed infection, the HIV viral replication in tuberculose focus gets reinforced. MTB may be a co-factor through AIDS infection to its worsening. The mixed infection brings about much difficulty in treatment because the original clinic symptoms are altered due to the weakened cell immune function.Purpose1. To acquire a better understanding of the state of the mixed infection in our province and provide theoretical support for taking preventive measures against the mixed infection.2. To analyze the clinical treatment and provide sound theoretical basis against making wrong diagnosis.3. Through the treatment and analysis, much guidance will be provided for the cilinal treatment.Method1. To find the state of the mixed infection in our province through statistical anaysis of the 619 AIDS victims who have mixed infection in the deparments of infectious diseases and tuberculosis witch included in the cases of 1880HIV infected of Henan Isolation Hospital from August,2002 to February,2010.2. To apply the statistical analysis of the clinical features, and examine imaging and etiologicalo results of 100 victims who suffer from the mixed infection and 100 tuberculosis victims in the deparments of infectious diseases and tuberculosis of Henan Isolation Hospital from January,2006 to February,2009.3. To take up CD4+T lymphocyte count of the patients with mixed infection who receive mere treatment of HRZE and the combined treatment of HRZE and HAART and analyze the differences between the two using SPSS12.0.Results1. The patients' average age who suffered from the mixed infection in our province is 39.6. Among HIV infections in Henan Province, about 32.9% of patients have tuberculosis, the sex ratio was no significant difference between HIV patients and HIV combined simple TB patients, most are male; the majority of HIV infections live in village.2. In our province,94% of the mixed infection patients had no history of exposure to TB patients, however, according to chest CT, 6% patients have lung shadow of old fibrous cords, with hilar calcifications old, hence, it is assumed that these patients may have a history of TB infection。3. The patients with the mixed Tuberculous mycobacteria are infected with tuberculous mycobacteria easily(6%), its clinical and imaging manifestations complex.4. The mixed infection patients with combined anit-retroviral therapy and combined anti-tuberculosis treatment with anti-tuberculosis treatment alone had significantly(P<0.01)5. The incidence of type of the patients with the mixed mycobacterium tuberculosis infection is directly related to CD4+T lymphocyte count. The less CD4+T Lymphocyte count is, the more easily Blood disseminated tuberculosis infects patients.6. The CD4+T lymphocyte count can be regarded as one index to judge how effective the treatment for patients with the mixed infection is.7. The immune function of the patients receiving the timely and fulldose anti-tuberculosis treatment combined with highly active antiretroviral therapy will be improved better compared with that of those patients receiving the mere timely and fulldose anti-tuberculosis treatment.Conclusion1. Among HIV infections in Henan Province, about 32.9% of patients have tuberculosis, the sex ratio was no significant difference between HIV patients and HIV combined simple TB patients, most are male; the majority of HIV infections live in village.2. The CD4+T Lymphocyte count of HIV victims is directly related to the condition of tuberculosis and its treatment effect. The CD4+T Lymphocyte count can be regarded as one index to judge how effective the treatment for patients with the mixed infection is.3. The timely fulldose anti-tuberculosis theropy and antiretroviral therapy for the patients with the mixed infection of AIDS and MTB will improve the treatment effect.
