Purpose Pressurize the rabbit kidney by pressure mold and monitor the change before and after the pressure process to testify the effect of pressure on renal function. Materials and Methods 15adult rabbits were randomized into either A)after unilateral uninephrectomy, the other kidney is pressed by plastic air pocket ;B) )after unilateral uninephrectomy, the other kidney is pressed by plastic pellet; C)just unilateral uninephrectomy. Monitor the experimental group and control group renal function before and after opration. Stain the renal specimen by HE and masson to realize the pathology change. Results The postoprerative renal function of group A has no obvious diversity compared with preoperation and group C, the postoprerative renal function of group B descends in evidence compared with preoperation and group A and C. The pathology reveal: after be pressured the kidney ,the glomerule, nephric tubule and artery changed a lot. Conclusion When the pressure is proper ,it would be detrimental to the renal function. So surgical cyst decompression still offers a effective therapeutic alternative for ADPKD.
