In this research, P. Supina was extracted with heat reflux extraction and cold soak method, and than extraxted with petroleum ether, ethyl acetate and n-butanol. This study take the modle of mouse alloxan diabetes, to select active fractions of P. supina on hypoglycemic effect were fractions of ethyl acetate.The constituents of the ethyl acetate exeract were isolated and purified by repeated silica gel and Sephadex LH-20 chromatography, and eight compounds were isolated. And their structures were elucidated on the basis of physicochemical properties and spectral data(1H-NMR,13C-NMR). The eight compounds were euscaphic acid(1), tormentic acid (2), myrianthic acid (3), daucosterol (4), escu-letin (5), apigenin (6), rosamultin(7), astragalin(8). As it is reported that compounds 1,2,3,4,6,8 have hypoglycemic effect. Compounds 1-8 were isolated from P. supina for the first time.
