Experimental Studies On Electric Acupuncture For Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis

Objective:To study the curative effect of acupuncture and moxibustion on knee osteoarthritis and to analysis the possible experiment mechanism.Methods:There are 48 health New Zealand rabbits which are half females were randomly divided into the control group(A),the model group(B) and the treatment group(C). Meanwhile,The group B and C were uesed to the models with the Knee Osteoarthritis. The Group C were treated by acupuncture and moxibustion. In addition, each groups were fed normally and were not treated by acupuncture and moxibustion. Around the experiment, the changes of IL-1βand, TNF-a in the Knee Joint Liquid of these groups were examed by Radioimmunoassay.Results:①Before making the mold success, Visual observation: The group A of the knee joint facies articularis visual observation assumes the pale blue and is smooth. The group B of the articular cartilage surface visual observation assumes the yellow and gloomy;The group C of the articular cartilage surface visual observation assumes the white and the proliferation compares the group B to be light. The dyeing observation of HE: The group A of cartilage cell arrange in neat rows. The group B of the knee joint facies articularis visual observation assumes the rough and the cartilage cell vanishing, in-depth presents the cartilage cell bunch of product phenomenon, under the cartilage the bone board accumulation; Compares with the group B, the group C of the knee joint facies articularis visual observation assumes the shallower and the cartilage cell assumes the columnar neat arrangement, the facies articularis is neat, the moist graticule is complete.②Before the treatment, the changes of IL-1βand TNF-a in the Knee Joint Liquid of the group B and C are obviously greater than the group A(P<0.05);After the treatment, the changes of IL-1βand TNF-a in the Knee Joint Liquid of the group C was obviously lower than the group B(P<0.05; Compared with before the treatment, the changes of IL-1βand TNF-a in the Knee Joint Liquid of the group C was obviously lower(P<0.05).Conclusion:The IL-1βand the TNF-a are important medium of Knee osteoarthritis. The Acupuncture and Moxibustion have the preventive and curative effects on Knee Osteoarthritis by lowering. The IL-1βand the TNF-a in the Knee Joint Liquid Osteoarthritis is effective.
