Clinical Research On The Treatment Of Children With Tourette Syndrome With Self-made Di Tan Kai Qiao Soup

Purpose: Thinking of resolving phlegm and resuscitation as treatment, make use of decoction of resolving phlegm and resuscitation to treat Tourette Syndrome(phlegm-heat and liver-flower type). Proved its efficacy and the advantage of avoiding side effects through the clinical efficacy of the decoction of Chinese medicine.Method: Children with Tourette Syndrome (phlegm-heat and liver-flower type) in patients with a total of 30 cases, 15 cases were randomly divided into experimental group and the others were control group. The experimental group were treated with decoction of resolving phlegm and resuscitation. The control group were treated with haloperidol tablets,50μg /kg·d, then be gradually reduced dose of disease control. Two groups thinked of 1 month as 1 course of treatment, continuous observation of 3 courses. Observed effection before and after treatment in children with clinical symptoms and compared it.Result:1 The total effective rate of the experimental group is 83.33%; the total effective rate of the control group is 86.67%. There is no difference of clinical curative effect in two group with statistic comparison (P﹥0.05).2 The experimental group is higher than the control group in reducing relapse through the statistical analysis(P﹤0.05).3 This experiment was not observed drugs on heart, liver and kidney function, blood system and so there are adverse reactions.Conclusion: Decoction of resolving phlegm and resuscitation is effective for Tourette Syndrome (phlegm-heat and liver-flower type), which improves the appetite in children and without side effects.
