Investigation On The Situation Of Disables Mellitus Knowledge Among The Clinicians In Zhumadian City

Objective:To understand the situation of the Clinicians in Zhumadian City's knowledge about diabetes mellitus and allalyze the relevant factors, for providing a basis of knowledge training for the staff.Methods:Investigate 600 the Clinicians selected by a convenience sample from 2 one class Second hospitals and 10 one class three hospitals in Zhumadian City, covering the traditional and the update knowledge about diabetes. the data was analyzed by SPSS 13.0, Comparison of different titles, the hospital level, professional about disables mellitus knowledge. Results:the level of diabetes mellitus knowledge in the City's Clinicians was poor,the traditional party was better than the update party;No difference in different titles, the update knowledge of Chief doctor was poor (P<0.05). Conclusion:knowledge about diabetes mellitus in the City's Clinicians is relatively low. Therefore, the knowledge training about diabetes should be strengthened, especially non—endocrine Clinicians.The training should focus on the new progress of diabetes and the older Clinicians.
