Objective:This study aimsed to explore whether that on the basis of valsartan in the treatment of combined with traditional Chinese medicine TangHeTang of replenishing qi to invigorate the spleen, tonifying the liver and kidney could better control blood pressure, blood sugar and reduce the risk of such patients'development towards diabetes mellitus. Methods: 60 patients were randomly divided into two groups which were made of valsartan antihypertensive therapy, the treatment group (30 cases) took TangHeTang and patients were simply informed considerations about diet and exercise. The contrast group (30 cases) would adopt a strict lifestyle intervention, clinical symptoms were observed before and after treatment, including signs and laboratory indices.Result:1. the total effect rate of TangHeTang treatment group was 90%,the effect rate of the contrast group was 73.33%,there were a remarkable difference(p<0.05).2. The total effect of TangHeTang meliorating clinic symptom was 90%,the effect of the contrast group was 63.33%,there was remarkable difference(P<0.05).3. TangHeTang in reducding blood glucose and glycated hemoglobin , improving the blood lipid and insulin resistance had a good effect, and there are differences between the two groups (P <0.05) 4.TangHeTang in circumference of helping lower blood pressure, lower BMI and waist had better terms of efficacy .Before and after treatment there was a remarkable difference (P <0.05), but no difference between the two groups (P> 0.05).Conclusion: This study enriched the traditional Chinese medicine theory content of curing hypertension combined IGT , and affirmed the clinical effect of " replenishing qi to invigorate the spleen, tonifying the liver and kidney " forTangHeTang,,as the basis for future in-depth research.. |
