Clinical Study Between The Effectiveness And Ki-67 Changing Of Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy Of TCM Sydrome Differentiation Of Breast Cancer

Objective:This study was designed to analyze the effectiveness and Ki-67changing of neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NCT) in bresst cancer patients, reviewed and followed-up the patients' ovral surival (OS) and disease-free surival (DFS), in its Traditional Chinese Medieine (TCM) syndrome differentiation. In order to provide individual treatment for TCM sydrome differentiation of breast cancer and to conduct the clinical treatment.Methods:To observe thrity-one cases of female breast cancer were diagnosed by core biopsies and accepted NCT (whatever chemotherapy regimens and cycles) and then operated from April 2007 to June 2010. And signs for classification of syndromeon TCM of breast eancer:strongly fragrant stagnat Phlegm congealing, ehongren imbalanee, defleieney of healthy energy and sthenia of evil.Collecting, assessing NCT effectiveness,observing the expressions of,then comparative analysis the general imformation,pathological index.,Ki-67,DFS,OS and make statistic analysis using SPSS 16.0.Result:①All the 31 patients were female, the ages distributed from 28～64 years, the middle age was 52 years.There were Strongly fragrant stagnat Phlegm congealing 14 cases, ehongren imbalanee 10 cases, defieieney of healthy energy and sthenia of evil 7 cases.There were obvious difference in the age and the primary tumor size. Strongly fragrant stagnat Phlegm congealing had the youngest mean age,39.3±8.3 years, defieieney of healthy energy and sthenia of evil had most T3,,T4. (P<0.05). The patients of three TCM syndromes had no difference on the menopausal status,pathologieal stage (TNMstage),lymph node histopathologie type, chemotherapy cycles,operration mode (P>0.05).②After NCT,31 patients had the overall response rate(OR) 54.8%,the defieieney of healthy energy and sthenia of evil had the lowest OR(P<0.05). And obviously decreased (58.1% VS.38.7%,P<0.05), Defieieney of healthy energy and sthenia of evil with the Ki-67 positive expression had the highest OR (P<0.05).③TNM stage could be lowed by NCT,and be the drug sensitivity test to change the chemotherapy regimens for the best effectiveness after operation,but there's no difference among thus.④Reviewed and followed-up range from 5 to 43 monthes, the mean time is 24 monthes.4 cases recurrented, one of them died. Defieieney of healthy energy and sthenia of evil had the lowest DFS(P<0.05),and there's no OS differences among them.(P>0.05) Conclusion:The patients of the breast cancer after NCT, that the TCM syndrome could some extent suggested prognosis of breast cancer。OR had predictive effect on long term survival. Strongly fragrant stagnat Phlegm congealing and ehongren imbalanee had better OR.Defieieney of healthy energy and sthenia of evil with the Ki-67 positive expression had the higher OR. the Ki-67could be an independent prognostic index for its response to NCT in breast cancer.
