Purpose:To evaluate the inhibition of Chinese Kangai to primary ovary carcinoma proliferation in vitro, and evaluate its clinic effect, to provide clinical evidence of Chinese Kangai used in ovary cancer.Material and method:1.20 cases of ovary cancer specimens were collected during operation, and those specimens of adenocarcinoma were selected after confirmed by HE Staining and Immunohistochemistry. The fresh operation specimens of ovary cancer were used to do primary cell culture in vitro, and method of MTT were used to detect cell proliferation rate, then we judge the sensitivity of Chinese Kangai and other 11 kinds of chemotherapy drug.2.40 cases of ovary adenocarcinoma were selected and grouped into 2groups-Chinese Kangai group and western medicine (topotecan) group randomly. Their serum CA-125 were detected by electrochemiluminescence immunoassay, Differences were compared between before and after treatment with Kangai and topotecan separately. T cell subgroup were detected by flow cytometry to learn CD3+,CD4+,CD8+ and CD4+/CD8+ in normal person, Kangai group and Topotecan group. The toxity of Kangai and topotecan were observed according to blood tests and clinical symptoms.Results:1. In HE Staining carcinoma specimens, cell array to irregular papillomer or adenomer structure with invasive grpwth. Atypia is obvious, All the specimens were diagnosed for ovary adenocarcinoma by pathologists. All the specimens selected in our study were CA-125 and CK7 positive.2. Ovary carcinoma has different sensitivity to drugs according to our study:karbo (70%), taxol (70%),adriamycin (60%),docetaxel (55%),ifosfamide (55%),Kangai (55%),oxaliplatin (50%),cisplatin (40%),gemcitabine (40%),epiadriamycin (35%),lobaplatin (20%).We can learn that the sensitivity of Kangai is similar to docetaxe,ifosfamide,topotecan,and oxaliplatin which were used as first-line treatment.3. Serum CA-125 is lower after Kangai treatment than before (p<0.05). 4. According to the analysis of T cell subgroup:there were no significant differences between Kangai and control groups, And the differences between western medicine (topotecan) group and control group is significant (p<0.05).5. The side effects of Kangai is the lowest, there are only 5% cases appear abdominal pain, without diarrhea, marrow suppression, without damage of liver and kidney and allergy. The side effect is lower than topotecan group.Conclusion:1.Chinese Kangai can inhibit the growth of ovary carcinoma in vitro.2.Chinese Kangai can reduce serum CA-125 level. The side effects of Kangai is lower, and it can regular immune function.
