ObjectiveEvaluate objectively the clincical efficacy of treating acne with the therapy of point application and acupuncture by RCT. The therapy of point application and acupuncture treatment group in comparison with only western medicine control group at the quality of clinical efficacy, and raise the optimize proprosal of acupuncture moxibustion.Explore the mechanism and the promotional value.MethodsAccording to the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria,60 acne patients were selected and were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 30 cases in each group. The treatment group were treated with the therapy of point application and acupuncture while the control group were treated by western medicine. The treatment frequency of the acupuncture part of treatment group was three times a week, one time each day, the treatment continued and the totol treatment duration was four weeks. The control group topical cream viaminate-dimensional E, daily at bedtime, the treatment continued and the total treatment duration was four weeks. Efficiacy evaluation was conducted after four weeks'treatment, the standard for scoring the degree of lesion count.ResultsAfter treatment, comparing the overall effects of the two groups by Ridit test, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), including that the treatment group had better effect than control group. For patientd in both groups,compared with each other, by indepentment sample test, the difference was statistically signigicant(P<0.05); by paired test, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05), indicating the treatment group had better effect than the control group.ConclusionsBoth the therapy of point application and acupuncture treatment group and treatment control group have remarkable effect in treating acne patients. Both methods can improve the degree of skin damage. After treatment, the overall efficacy of the treatment group was better than the control group. Comparing the two groups with each other, the difference was statistically significant.
