Objective:Misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis often happen,because of the complicated pathogenic factors and the atypical clinical manifestation of senile pneumonia. In purpose of getting the features of senile pneumonia, it is essential to do classical research on it.Methods:Select 347 patients from the department of respiratory medicine of the first Clinical College of Heilongjiang Traditional Chinese University. According to the diagnostic criteria in the Internal Medicine, observing 209 patients with senile pneumonia and analyzing clinical manifestation, assistant examination and so on.Results:The retrospective study shows us that the clinical manifestation of senile pneumonia is complicated and atypical, but symptoms in lungs such as cough,expectoration have a highly incidence.Except symptoms in respiratory system,the digestive system and circulatory system often have apparent symptoms.Cough,coughing of phlegm,insomnia, cardiopalmus, constipation are the main clinical symptoms.Yellow fur, thin fur, greasy fur are the main tongue manifestations.Slippery pulse, string pulse, rapid pulse, are the main pulse manifestation.Cough is the main syndrome. Assistant examination shows that the blood routine is normal. Gram-negative bacteria and Gram-positive bacteria are the most common pathogenic bacteria.Conclusions:Senile pneumonia usually starts with the complicated pathogenic factors and the atypical clinical manifestation, he rate of death is relatively higher. Syndrome differentiation by TCM(traditional chinese medicine) illustrates that cough is the main syndrome. Yellow fur, thin fur, greasy fur are the main tongue manifestations.Slippery pulse, string pulse, rapid pulse, are the main pulse manifestation.Neutrophils increased in the blood routine.Senile pneumonia was mainly caused by Fungi and Gram-negative bacteria.
