The article had systematic researched tobacco soil suitability and its quality, discussed the influence of different soli factors on flue-tobacco growth and quality by research tobacco soil characteristics and tobacco physical and chemical quality characteristics in Fenghuang county. These studies were very important for comprehensive accurate evaluation the characteristics Fenghuang tobacco soli, Provide a good scientific theory foundation on analysis the reason that how quality tobacco formation on mountain, and further consolidate and improve the quality of tobacco leaves in the future. The main conclusions were as follows:1. The paper has systematically studied the characteristics of Fenghuang tobacco soil and its soil nutrient content was described through conducted a comprehensive analysis of soil nutrient elements. The result showed that its tobacco soil pH is suitable, soil nutrient also suitable for flue-tobacco cultivation as a whole, the composite score over90points which achieve the appropriate level. Soil organic matter is rich, while the content of available phosphorus and available potassium are low levels. In different soil types, soil pH, available phosphorus, potassium, exchangeable calcium and magnesium, water-soluble chlorine and most of trace elements have extremely significant differences, Retention in paddy soil has high items relatively. In different soil texture, soil pH, nitrogen, available phosphorus, potassium, available iron, exchangeable calcium and soluble chlorine have extremely significant differences, zinc, copper, manganese, etc, there are still some significant differences among them. Indicators are more appropriate in the medium loam.2. The physical and chemical tobacco quality has been compared on different soil types, different soil textures and different soil pH and the tobacco which was produced in the three conditions. The result showed that the yellow soil exist more obvious advantages on the growth of flue-tobacco, and tobacco have higher growth rate in the stage of field. In different soil texture, loam tobacco gain good promote role at early time, but clay demonstrated some advantages in growth later period, especially in the process maturity. In different soil pH, by medium pH level flue-cured tobacco growth is good. In the aspect of tobacco physical and chemical quality, flue-cured tobacco physical indicators and the intrinsic chemical composition have different degree of significant in the three conditions. Tobacco chemical composition has been compared by composite score, three factors conditions respectively scoring55.72,79.14and69.21. It was showed that in the three soil conditions, soil texture was the most prominent to the contribution of tobacco quality, the next was soil pH.3. The Correlation of different nutritional elements and leaf chemical quality in the same tobacco soil has been comprehensive studied. Soil organic matter has very significant correlation (0.346") with tobacco total nitrogen content, and exist large positive correlation (0.192*) with nicotine too. In addition, soil available nitrogen also has some positive correlation (0.182*) with total nitrogen and nicotine.
