According to the phenomenons of deficient of boron and available phosphorus in south china, we took Hibiscus sabdariffa as research object, using randomized block test design, through field experiment to simulate the biological culture, based on the analysis of changes of physiological and biochemical indexes in different Hibiscus sabdariffa lines by months under combination application of phosphorus and boron, the effect of combination of phosphorus and boron application on nutrients contents in different organs of different Hibiscus sabdariffa lines were further analyzed in this paper. Therefore, the response mechanism of various Hibiscus sabdariffa lines under different phosphorus and boron treatments were discussed from the angles of physiological metabolism and nutrient metabolism, thus, provided theoretical and practical basis for high yield quality cultivating and large-scale planting of Hibiscus sabdariffa, the main results were as follows:1.Under the treatment of high boron with different levels of phosphorus, the SOD activity, POD activity and soluble sugar contents were higher than CK, and MDA contents was significantly low than CK in any determination times. High boron with various phosphorus levels had different effect on the SOD activity, POD activity, MDA contents and soluble sugar contents of the same Hibiscus sabdariffa line in different months. Treatment of high boron and high phosphorus lead to the highest SOD activity of Hibiscus sabdariffa early-ripe line in august and september, and mid-ripe line in july and august and late-ripe line in july and october, in other treatment months the highest SOD activity was appeared in treatment of high boron and mid-phosphorus; treatment of high boron and mid-phosphorus the Hibiscus sabdariffa early-ripe line shown with highest POD activity, treatment of high boron with high phosphorus the highest POD activity occurred at august and September in Hibiscus sabdariffa mid-ripe line, and in july and october the the treatment of high boron and mid-phosphorus showed highest POD activity, whereas, in Hibiscus sabdariffa late-ripe line under treatment of high boron and high phosphorus the highest POD activity appeared in every month; the MDA contents of Hibiscus sabdariffa early-ripe line was lowest under high boron and mid-phosphorus treatment, however, the lowest MDA contents of Hibiscus sabdariffa early-ripe line treated with high boron and mid-phosphorus only showed in july, whereas, in other treatment months the lowest MDA content appeared in high boron and phosphorus treatment, among these Hibiscus sabdariffa late-ripe line showed the lowest MDA contents in august and october, and in the rest of months high boron and mid-phosphorus showed lowest MDA contents; these results indicated that treatment of high boron and high phosphorus were in favor of the increased of soluble sugars in any of Hibiscus sabdariffa lines under any of months tested in this paper.2.The results suggested that high boron with different phosphorus levels treatments had significant influence on the contents of total K,P,Ca,Mg and Cu in root, stem, leaf and fruit of different Hibiscus sabdariffa lines. As for the differences of available nutrients in each organs, the available nutrients contents such as K, P and Mg was highest in the fruit, whereas the Cu contents showed highest in the root. The contents of K, P and Ca in root, stem, leaf and fruit of different Hibiscus sabdariffa lines all increased to some different extents with increasing phosphorus concentration. And the varieties among treatments was high-P>mid-P>low-P>control. With the increase of phosphorus concentration, the Mg content in different organs increase earlier and decreased later; the Cu contents in different Hibiscus sabdariffa lines decrease with the application of phosphorus increased.3. Under the treatment of high phosphorus with different levels of boron, the SOD activity, POD activity and soluble sugar contents were higher than CK, and MDA contents was significantly low than CK in any determination times and lines; high phosphorus with various levels of boron had different effect on the SOD activity, POD activity, MDA contents and soluble sugar contents of the same Hibiscus sabdariffa line in different months, Hibiscus sabdariffa early-ripe line had the highest SOD activity under the treatment of high phosphorus in september and october, but mid-ripe line showed highest SOD activity in july and august month treated with high phosphrous and high boron, whereas, highest SOD activity of late-ripe line appeared in july and october, in the rest of tested months each lines showed highest SOD activity treated with mid-boron; the highest POD activity of Hibiscus sabdariffa early-ripe line appeared in july and september under the treatment with high phosphorus and high boron, and this treatment the highest POD activity showed in september and october, and also under the same treatment, in every treated months late-ripe lines all showed with highest POD activity; the lowest MDA contents of Hibiscus sabdariffa early-ripe line appeared in july under high boron and high phosphorus, and in other months treated with high phosphorus and mid-boron appeared with lowest MDA contents, in mid-ripe line the lowest MDA contents showed in each tested months, in late-ripe lines under the treatment of high phosphorus and high boron the lowest MDA contents appeared in july, and in the rest of months treated with high phosphorus and mid-boron the MDA contents were lowest. The highest soluble sugars of Hibiscus sabdariffa early-ripe line under the treatment of high phosphorus and high boron appeared in augus and september, and mid-ripe line showed the highest soluble sugars contents under the same treatment in july, september, october, whereas, the late-ripe line showed the highest soluble sugar contents in july, august and september, the rest months of each treatment highest soluble sugars contents appeared under the treatment of high phosphorus and mid-boron.4. The results indicated that high phosphorus with different boron levels treatments had different influences on the contents of total K,P,Ca,Mg and Cu in root, stem, leaf and fruit of different Hibiscus sabdariffa lines. With the increased concentration of boron the contents of K, P and Ca in root, stem, leaf and fruit of different Hibiscus sabdariffa lines all increased to some different extents, the varieties among treatments showed the trendency of high boron> mid-boron> low boron>CK. The Mg contents in different Hibiscus sabdariffa lines showed the trendency of increase earlier and decreased later with increasing boron concentration, whereas, the Cu contents showed the show the adverse tendency; as for the varieties of each elements in different organs, the contents of K and P were higher in the fruit than other organs, and Ca contents in leaf was higher than in other organs, and the contents of Cu and Mg was higher in root than in other organs.
