With the development of economy and technology, maize has been widely used in the field of feed, food industry and manufactured materials, not only used as the grain. High-oil, high quality protein, and high-starch maize have attracted extensive attention because of its excellent quality and many uses, and also show more and more broad development prospects.High-oil maize is that the grain with oil rate is more than6%, and its oil content is twice times of common maize, what's more linoleic acid which easily absorpted by human beings in aliphatic acid is more than61.8%. It's a new type of high value-added maize which is artificial breeding in recent decades. The high-oil maize is one of the modern science and technology's significant contributions to maize breeding. And it is one of the most important developments in maize genetics and breeding after hybrids appeared. The high-oil maize also represents one of the directions of maize development. At present, the high-oil maize hybrids derives from the common maize inbred lines and the hybrid group of high-oil maize inbred lines. In this study, our materials is the F23groups which hybrids by common maize and high-oil maize. We preliminarily analysis its grain and stover quality traits. Designed to provide a reference for high-oil maize breeding and molecular genetic study.Analysis on several main qualities of the F23group of common maize8622xhigh oil maize GY220was studied. The result showed that besides the crude fat content pedigree the difference is not remarkable, other several characters have achieved the extremely remarkable level; While no significant differences were found in interaction between environment and family lines other than crude protein, ADF and IVDMD. There were great range of variations for all traits among F2:3families. According to their variantion coefficients they could be arranged as starch, NDF, IVDMD, ADF, protein, CP, Oil and Fat. There were significant negative correlations between grain starch and oil and protein percentage, between stover crude protein and ADF and NDF, between IVDMD and ADF and NDF.Eeight grain and stover quality traits of F2:3families developed from the cross between a common maize inbred8984and a high-oil maize inbred GY220were analyzed in this study. The results showed that there were significant differences among F2:3lines for all characters other than stover crude fat percentage. While no significant differences were found in interaction between environment and family lines other than IVDMD. There were great range of variations for all traits among F2:3families. According to their variantion coefficients they could be arranged as starch, NDF, ADF, protein, IVDMD, Oil, CP and Fat. There were significant positive or negative correlations between grain starch and oil and protein percentage, between stover crude protein and grain oil and stover crude fat percentage, between IVDMD and stover crude protein and ADF.
