Investigation On The Freshwater Fish Breeding And Processing Security In Hunan Province

Hunan waters are vast, and rich in fish resources. So far Hunan boasts an area of about 480 hectares of freshwater aquaculture, and her aquaculture production reaches 180 million tons of fisheries output ,and her economical value is about 70 billion. Freshwater fish farming and processing industries have always been a pillar industry ,which are helpful for the province's economic development and rural incomes conditions in the agricultural economy of our province. As people's living standards improve, the demands on food nutrition and health are rising ever higher, and the consciousness of health has become stronger, and then the quality of people's food security requirements of fish is no exception. The issues from the fish fry breeding to processing of fish products, to fish medicines, the delivery of feed and feeding, breeding waters and to the aquaculture facilities, the choice of raw materials processing and to the production operations the use of additives should have appropriate safety targets and requirements.In order to know the Hunan status of freshwater fish farming and processing ,the author wage on-site interviews , field surveys in large areas such as freshwater fish farms in Changsha, Yueyang, Yiyang, Changde, Yongzhou , visite the Fisheries Company of Hunan Yi Hua, Hunan Dongting water yield, and interview the Changde Environmental Protection Agency, Animal Husbandry and Fishery Bureau of Yongzhou, After the probe,I understand the status of Hunan freshwater fish farming and processing, relevant data obtained. After analyzingand comparing accordingly, the author summarizes the constraints of freshwater fish culture in Hunan and issues of the healthy development of safety. The survey contents are two parts,which are the water area in Hunan Province freshwater fish, heavy metal pollution, fish medicines, pesticide residues, the use of farming technology, feed quality and feeding; and are the processing of raw freshwater fish operation excluding the use of additives and holidays the other hand. Through this investigation, I found that 50 farms have varying degrees of water pollution; 85 ponds exceed fishing pesticide residues in fishery drugs; 70 farms have such issues as feed quality and feeding failure; 65 workshop have such issues as not follow strict processing requirements in fish products and processing ,the illegal use of non-food substances added,the abuse and excessive use of food additives, the processing environment, and as substandard hygiene standards.
