Many important agronomic traits are quantitative. It is very important to accurately identify and finely map quantitative trait loci (QTL). In our experiment, a series of single segment Substitution lines (SSSLs) in an elite inbred line 87-1 gnetic background of maize was developed. QTL mapping with the SSSLs at Zhengzhou and Sanya in 2008 and 2009. We analyzes variations of donor genome contents of developing of SSSLs, and study heterosis effect of heterozygous SSSLs.The main results are as follows:1. QTL mapping of grain yield and its components with the SSSLs at Zhengzhou and Sanya in 2008.45 QTL was detected with 35 SSSLs in Zhengzhou, and 52 QTL was detected with 39 SSSLs in Sanya, the total QTLs was 73 in two sites. Compare the same SSSL material in two sites,.it was found that 26 QTLs was detected in the same10 SSSLs, and 14 QTLs was found in two sites, the percentage was 19.2%, the average of each repeat SSSLs was 2.23. The identify for QTLs was used to study inheritance, fine map and clone of QTLs.3.They were distributed unevenly on chromosomes and trended to be in clusters.2 QTL linking to the microsatellite marker of umc1019-bnlg1237 were detected in chrosome 5, which were revelant to the traits:ear length, ear diameter, respectively. QTL lingking to the SSR markerof bnlgl538-bnlg391 were detected in chrosome 6,which were revelant to the traits:ear length, kernal number per row,respectively.2. The analysis results of ear traits is demonstrated that twelve fragments of which HP(%) a significant level is prominent, it is say there is hybrid effect, in which of 10 fragments exist advantage heterosis of 35 single segment substitution lines; Hetetosis effect have two fragments exist Chr.2,Chr.5,Chr.6,Chr.8,Chr.10,, respectively.
