As an important tool for conservation tillage, subsoiling technology plays a significant role in the sustained agricultural development. Mnay years experience proved that the subsoiling technology is a reasonable cropping system, an essential mechanization practice for the high output from the farming field and has received much attention. However, due to some reasons subsoiling technology has not been widely implemented, a main reason of which is its high impedance.The aim, significance and technical plan for active subsoiler was discussed in this paper. Traditional subsoiler was moved by tractive force supplied by tractors and thus they belong to passive machineries. The active subsoiler was able to induce soil fragmentation failure, so that the adverse working environment and effect experienced by the traditional type were largely improved. Pro/e developing software was adopted for model construction and design, its mathematical models were then applied for structure and stress analysis on the main parts of the machine. It was used to simulate the motion path of the subsoiler, and the mutual influence relations between each parameters, e.g. stress, torque, forward velocity and two row distance. So it is not only more convenient for us to compare each parameter and the working resistance relations, but also may discover the mutual influence relations between each parameter. Thereby it can provide the reliable basis for us to design the more superior subsoilers.
