Currently,the material of three-dimensional aculpture plants and plants walls are simplex,and sedum plants have important value in the applications of removable three-dimensional aculpture plants and plants walls.The material of three-dimensional aculpture plants and plants walls need tolerant to drought, individual plant low and dense.Sedum plants are tolerant to drought in a certain extent,and some researchers had do some reseach.However,these failed to establish the reliability of scientific drought index selection system.Sedum plants need further studies on drought tolerance.There are two parts of this study,one of them was about drought tolerance of sedum plants.A comprehensive assessment of sedum plants'drought tolerance was did,the evaluation system of relative water content,SOD activitym,soluble sugar content and chlorophyll content was established by pot water control test,all physiological indexes of different plants have significant difference(P<0.05),and the intensity of drought tolerance is Sedum spurium'Coccineum'>Sedum lineare sp.>Sedum lineare'Variegatum'.The other part of this study was adopted an orthogonal experiment of 3 factors and 3 levels to screen the best removable ecotypes cultivation matrix with the timbering residue, perlite and coconut shred as the substrates materials for Sedum lineare sp.The results showed that,1) deal with different combinations of matrix, Sedum lineare sp. are significant difference on the physiological index for each growth target(P<0.05)2) the best removable ecotypes cultivation matrix of Sedum lineare sp. are A4B1C1 or A6B1C2,that is,( the timbering residue, : perlite : coconut shred) as 4:1:1or 6:1:2(volume ratio).
