The Study On The Characteristic Of The Seed Dormancy And Germination Of Parasitic Drug Plant-Cynomorium Songaricum

The parasite plant is a class of widespread resources in the nature. Many parasitic plants is an important source of the traditional Chinese herbal medicine. However, due to the special way of life, resulting in their seeds germinate does not necessarily smooth, even if the seeds meet the basic of the seed germination conditions. This is mainly because the unique of germination characteristics about the parasitic plant, that is, common phenomenon of the seed dormancy about the newly mature seeds, Existing immature embryo, in the more seed to be within close range loaded with the source host root exudates induced germination stimulant, and the seeds could successfully germinate.The medicinal parasitic plant—Cynomorium songaricum widespread exist in Hexi region of Gansu, and its seeds is more difficult to germinate under the natural conditions. In this article, we taking the Hexi region's seeds of Cynomorium songaricum as the study object. Through of physical ways (such as water soaking, changing temperature, stratification, mechanical peeling, etc.) and biochemical ways (such as extract of Nitraria root, hormones, chemical reagents, etc.), were induced by treatment of seeds germination, and then from the situation of the seeds germination about Cynomorium songaricum to investigate the seeds dormancy, germination, germination appropriate set of environmental conditions, and the mechanism of promote germination more than the material selection aspects. Thus through of above jobs, it will provide a theoretical and practical basis for the seeds high germinate about Cynomorium songaricum, and to establish parasite relationship with the host. At the same time, these jobs play an appropriate reference and helpful reference for cultivating of Cynomorium songaricum and other parasitic plants.Through of our experiments, the main results were obtained as follows:(1) Cynomorium songaricum seeds dormancy include physiological and forced. Physiological dormancy is reflected in two aspects: One is embryo dormancy, embryo viability is low. The other is germination inhibitor in the seeds; and forced dormancy is caused by its peel. The special structure of peel have a negative effect about permeability and water permeability of the seeds, thus affecting the respiration of seeds, making the seeds passive dormancy.(2) Cynomorium songaricum seeds have irregular phenomenon about physiological development.(3) Before seeds germination, the embryo no further differentiated the cotyledons, plumule and radicle, and always keep the ball shape of the original embryo. Treated properly stimulated seeds germination, the Cynomorium songaricum seeds will emerge a germ-tube-like-organ, it's structure similar of radicle, the structure survived for 5 days.(4) The extract of Nitraria root can promote the Cynomorium songaricum seeds germination, after used of the extract of Nitraria root, the time of Cynomorium songaricum seeds germination was early; and the number of days that the seeds began to germinate about the first 20 days after joining the extract of Nitraria root.(5) With 10% NaClO₂ solution or ethylene solution to treatment the seeds of Cynomorium songaricum without fruit wall some time, and then adding the right amount of the extract of Nitraria root, it can more significantly improve the efficiency of the seeds germination.(6) Treatment with 80% methanol solution for some time to the seeds of Cynomorium songaricum without fruit wall or added to the GA₃ solution that it's concentration of 100μg/ml, Cynomorium songaricum seeds could germinate break away from the host Nitraria and germination rate is relatively high.
