The effects of harvesting periods on Dangshansu pears of normal temperature and refrigeration storage were studied in this piper. These Dangshansu pears in Weinan region were harvested from five different harvesting periods. During storage, by measuring the weight loss of fruit, respiration rate, ethylene production, flesh firmness, soluble solids, titrable acid content and other physical and chemical indicators, the effects of different harvests on the physical characteristics and storage quality were studied. The results showed that:1. With the harvest delays of Dangshansu pear, flesh hardness and titrable acid content decreased, but soluble solids content increased, starch content in fruit continued to reduce gradually and seed color became dark brown. This shows that in mature Dangshansu pear flavor turns better.2. The harvestâ…¤that bloom stage 184 days pear, was already close to full maturity at harvest, so their respiration rate and ethylene pear relatively weak. As for respiration, Dangshansu pear of harvestâ…¤in soluble solids content of the fruit has been declining.3. In the refrigeration process, the pears of harvestâ…£that bloom stage 177 days maintain a relatively high hardness, soluble solids and fruit stalk fresh index, and weight loss, incidence of superficial scald and ratting is the lowest with the highest commodity, is the most suitable harvest time.
