Materials is Yunyan87 of main cultivars of Wu Ping Fujian. Tobacco's carotenoid degradation products is studied in this paper., as well as the physical properties, chemical properties and carotenoids content in the different areas, different leaf position. The main results obtained are as follows:(1) Through analysis of Wu Ping Tobacco in different altitudes areas, leaf positions ofβ-carotene and lutein, it is obtained that:when elevation below the 800m,the following differences in tobacco carotenoids are not significant, however, lutein andβ-carotene are significant in different areas. Eventhough the same planted in the different areas from the one county,the carotenoid content of the species is significantly different.(2) Under the acidic conditions, lutein andβ-carotene can be degradated rapidly by Using H2O2 as oxidant method; Using H2O2, KMnO4 as oxidant under acidic conditions are to make the degradation ofβ-carotene and lutein, Degradation products by GC/MS qualitative analysis, degradation products ofβ-carotene and lutein are mainly a series of alkyl type, ketone alcohols, esters, aldehydes,common Aroma include dihydroactinidiolide aroma substances,β-violet alcohol 2,2,6-Trimethyl cyclohexanone Chromoplast ene (tobacco ene),β-damascenone, dihydroactinidiolide Chromoplast ene (tobacco ene), sedges ketone, Palm formaldehyde, benzene, ethanol, benzene, acetaldehyde and so on.(3) The results show that:Coefficient of variation of single leaf weight is Generally high, single leaf weight and stem ratio is significantly different. The chemical parameters in the different leaf position were significantly different, Wu Ping Tobacco Chloride ion content is generally low. Total sugar, reducing sugar and nicotine has few changes, but total nitrogen, Cl- and K+ content has significant changes, the total nitrogen, Cl-, K+ content is related to soil nutrients and cultivation of tobacco. it indicates that it still has room for improvement of the Fertilization balance and soil in the smoking areas. (4) The quality of Tobacco is different in soil texture, leaf (3-carotene and content of total carotenoids were significantly different in different soil textures. Lutein were significantly different. But the chlorogenic acid, rutin,total polyphenol and Higher fatty acids is not significant differences in different soil texture which is used for cultivation of tobacco.
