"minong9 " melon was utilized as experimental objects in this paper.The possibility of preharvest SA or CTS treatment that induced resistance was investigated in "minong9 " melon, and the physiological mechanism was tudied in this paper.Also five different color Non-woven bags and White bags and plastic bag were used as materials in preharvest times.In order to syudy the effect of the melon fruit bagging on nutritional indices and storage performance.The main results as follows:(1) The total latent infection rate and infection rate of two major fungi (Alternaria alternata and Fusarium sp) was reduced effectively with preharvest SA or CTS treatment. The total latent infection of 2.0 mM/L SA and 1.25 mg/ml CTS treatment in the maturity rate (latent fungal infection rate) for the same period were 16.02% and 18.87% compared with the control. SA or CTS had the better control on A.alternate.(2) SA showed beter effect than CTS when compared the "minong 9" melon induction effects found in melon.They could enhance activity of POD, PPO, PAL and CAT in "minong 9 " melon, they also resulted in an increase of content of total phenolic and flavanoid.(3) 2.0 mM/L SA and 1.25 mg/ml CTS treatment at harvest could improved the hardness, the content of the total soluble solids and soluble pectin.increase the content of Vc and fruit weight, reduce the content of original pectin.(4) Light intensity in each bag was declined comparing with CK.The black Non-woven bags was the worest in light transmittance. The average was 1.37%. Bagging with all the texture bags could increase the temperature and the moisture in the bags, and didn't cause the accumulation of CO2.(5) Bagging could reduce the mechanical damage and make the skin clean and glossy, and so improved remarkably the appearance quality.(6) The nutritional quality in each bags improved obviously on the melon, among them with red non-woven bag was the most obvious.The content of soluble sugar compared with the control was 1.3 times, reducing sugar4.89 times, soluble solids was 1.08 times,organic acids was 1.60 times, vc was 1.18 Times,soluble protein was 1.18 times, free amino acid was 1.49 times.Meanwhile, sensory evaluation was superior to other treatments.(7) For the study of different bags on quality of postharvest melon, the quality indicators such as respiration intensity, ethylene, decay rate, total polyphenol content, flavonoids content, Vc, soluble solids, hardness, can titration acid, PPO, POD, PAL and SOD during postharvest storage of "minong9 " Hami melon, which was treated with the different bags for preharvest, were studied. The results showed that it were able to delay the arrival of Hami the better to maintain the quality of melon, cantaloupe effectively extend the storage period.(8) Induction and Bagging could reduce the stratum corneum intercellular, and make the arrangement mode of epidermal cells compact and ordered.
