As the economy maintains the higher growth rate,People's living level have improved a lot,people's need to the meat,egg,milk is gradually improving.Especially the constantly increasing demand for milk.At present,the development of livestock husbandry was still imbalance,the proportion of ruminant products were still less.The feed-production volune for ruminant animals was still lower,there were wider gaps than the average level in word,especially in the cow feeding.In recent years,aim at the dairy cattle existed questions,our country introducing a kind of total mixed ration(TMR) breed technology.This kind of breed technology had the advantage: with eating nutritional balance,palatability good,cow milk products increased,improve the feed efficiency and improve the economic efficiency advantages,so this technology was widely used.But the studies for the total mixed ration (TMR) mixer equipment were still less in china.Large total mixed ration(TMR) mixer mainly depend on import abroad. Therefore,the total mixed ration (TMR) mixers were viewed as object of study,The twif-shaft horizontal TMR mixer was studied in the paper.1.In this paper,mainly worked parts in the twif-shaft horizontal total mixed ration (TMR )mixer were researched systematically,and the structure and locomotion of mainly parts were determined,such as:transmission system,rotor,discharging mechanism and so on.Applied to gather cutting,kneed,mixed in the integral whole of design thought,designed the study applied twin-shaft horizontal total mixed ration (TMR )mixer.2.According to relevant data and the design features, rotation speed, clearance, mixing duration and fill factor were determined as experimental factor. By the method of quadratic orthogonal ration combination test study,and many indexes were considered in the study for the total mixed ration(TMR ) mixer in the paper.Such as mixture evenness,threadiness,the powder rate,residual rate and so on.3.In the mixing exeriments mixture evenness,threadiness and the powder rate were applied as evaluation indexes,and rotation speed,learance,mixing duration and fill factor were applied as the main influence factors.The experimental method of the four-factor and five-level quadratics rotary orthogonal combination was adopted.The experimental datas were processed by Design-Expert software and frequency analysis method.If want to get the rwsult of mixture evenness less than 10%,threadiness more than 50% and the powder rate lower than 40%.By experiments,the suitable parameters in structure and motion were obtained:rotation speed50~60 r/min,clearance12~13mm,mixing duration5~8min and fill factor 60%~70%.By verification test,obtained mixture evenness,threadiness and the powder rate closed to the theoretical value.4.According to the experiment results of the sample machines,the mechanism was reasonable,and when the unloading time was 3 minutes,the discharge residual rate can reach 0.5%.This result was lower than the related industry standards that residual rate index should be less than 1%.5.Experimental results and analysis for the principle of mixing provide further theory evidence for the design of twin-shaft horizontal total mixed ration (TMR )mixer.
