Single factor design was introduced in this experiment. The experiment was to investigate the effect of avilamycin supplement on growth performance, serum indexes, immune response and intestinal microflora. In 60 days feeding trial, a total of 1200 juvenile Jian carp (Cyprinus carpio var.Jian) (27.26±0.04 g, mean±SD) were fed diets containing five six levels of avilamycin:0,25,50,75,100,125 mg/kg. After growth experiments,15 fish in three groups with graded concentration of avilamycin (Omg/kg,50mg/kg and 100mg/kg) were selected to test the immune response. Results indicated that:(1) Feeding carp with avilamycin for 60 days,75mg/kg group achieved the best growth result, higher than control group 74% in WG, 40% higher in SGR and 41% higher in FE. However, groups whose drug dose higher than 75mg/kg seemed gaining lower WG indexes compare with 75mg/kg group, yet still higher than the control group. So, this way, the best adding dose of avilamycin would be around 75mg/kg.(2) Avilamycin groups are generally higher than control group 30% in CP, but appeared no significant differences among each avilamhycin group.100mg/kg drug dose gained the best accumulation of CF, higher than control group 24%, yet there were no greatly differences in the index of Ash.(3) Avilamcyin increased parameters of RBC, WBC HGB, and lower parameters of ESR until the dose reached 75mg/kg, in this aspect, avilamycin actually did improve body physiology condition and improve metabolism strength. In addition, indexes of Serum Glucose, TP, TG, GOT, GPT and Urea improved because of the increase of avilamycin, which indicated avilamycin could improve the absorption ability of nutrients, better metabolic level, and accelerate synthetization of protein. However, all parameters, generally, suggest 75mg/kg were the inflection point, which meant drug concentration higher than 75mg/kg would reduce the avilamycin effect on each index, also meant high dose avilamycin would lead to anemia, and low transportation ability of oxygen, and metabolism imbalance.(4) With the adding dose of avilamycin increased, intestinal escherichia coli and lactobacillus decreased, but had no significant influence on the number of bifidobacterium.(5) Adding avilamycin (50 mg/kg and 100 mg/kg) into the diets for a relatively long period of time(^28 d) decreased phagocytic activity of leukocytes, lysozyme activity, agglutinating antibody titer, the content of serum complement C3 and RPS. The restrain effect would be stronger when adding 100mg avilamycin into the diets.According to results, we can conclude adding avilamycin can impove carp growth performance and increase immune ability.
