The content of urea condensate was studied firstly, then evaluated the slow-release performance in vitro, The second experiment was conducted to assess the nutritional value of urea condensate to ruminant. This study was divided into two test:Firstly, This experiment was conducted to studied the content of urea condensate firstly, then evaluated the slow-release performance in vitro. The diets were preparated to be iso-energy and iso-nitrogen, with urea condensate (UC), urea phosphate (UP) and soybean meal (SBM) as test piece. Culture solution were taken at 0,1,2,4,6,8,10, 14,18 and 24hr incubation, for the determinating variation trend of pH,NH3 and MCP concentration. The results showed that:the total nitrogen was 8.23%,and the nitrogen of urea condensation was 7.64%.The pH in all the groups increased first, then decreased. The pH peak of UP (6.87) appeared at 2h incubation, the pH of UC was lower than SBM and higher than UP from 4-24h (P<0.05); the ammonia-N concentration of UC was lower than UP and higher than SBM from 0-10h (P<0.05), it reached the maximum value 42.76 mg/100mL at 8 h.; Microbial protein concentrations of UC was higher than UP and higher than SBM from 4-24 h. The fermentation characteristics in vitro indicated that the ammonia release speeds in UCwere gentler than that in UP, and the microbial protein synthesis in UC was higher than that in UP.Secondly, This experiment was conducted to assess the nutritional value of urea condensate to ruminant. a 3×3 Latin Square experiment was carried out to study the effect of urea condensate on rumen pH, ammonia N concentration, microbial protein and blood parameters of tibetan sheep. The results from in vivo experiment showed that:Rumen pH in all the groups increased first, then decreased, and reached the minimum value which attained at 6 h after feeding, there was no difference (P>0.05) between SBM and UC group at 6 h and after 14 h, it was lower than that of UP and higher than SBM. The ammonia N concentration of UC was lower than UP, there was on difference between SBM and UC group which attained at 2h after feedingh(P>0.05), ammonia N concentration of SBM and UP reached the minimum value now,on difference other times. The microbial crude protein average concentration was 17.25 mg/100 mL, which was 3.01%higher than UPand 30.45% higher than SBM. Blood parameters of BUN, TP, ALB, GOT, GPT were in normal physiological range and there were no significant difference among the groups(P>0.05). The carbonyl-amino urea could slow down the release velocity of ammonia N and improve the rumen fermentation, promote microbial protein Composited by improve the BUN availability.
