In recent years, as China's rapid economic growth, rapid increase in demand for urban transportation, while the city's land-use patterns determine the road space limited resources, but also due to transportation irrational distribution of resources, resulting in urban traffic problems become increasingly prominent. City BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) system, as a new mode of public transport is an effective way of dealing with the current issue of urban traffic congestion. Urban bus rapid transit system project, however, is involved in heavy investing, technical difficulties and high integration, while social, economic and environmental impact is difficult to predict and take appropriate methods to evaluate its economic and social benefits can be in the project the implementation of projects at different stages of adjustment. Bus Rapid Transit system, thus makes the appropriate evaluation of the project is one of the indispensable.This paper makes urban public transportation of home and abroad to conduct a systematic assessment of status of research, analysis of the evaluation of urban public transport especially in urban rapid transit system, evaluation of the problems, according to bus rapid transit system development model, based on the current situation of China pointed out that the rapid main means of public transport evaluation and basic principles, the system studied the adaptability of BRT evaluation system, as well as domestic urban public transport systems evaluation model.From the characteristics of bus rapid transit, the paper explores the theoretical evaluation of the rapid transit, content, principles, methods, requirements and major component in the evaluation index system on the basis of the full study concluded relying on the traditional evaluation system for public transport, builds evaluation and passenger satisfaction with four aspects of a comprehensive evaluation index based on the social environment assessment, public transportation company evaluation, technical performance using the analytic hierarchy model, constructs multi-index comprehensive evaluation system to determine the comprehensive evaluation index of each of the evaluation criteria and put forward the scientific definition of a comprehensive evaluation index of new methods. Paper uses multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model of the different stages of the implementation of bus rapid transit system, evaluation, and evaluation results so normalized. Paper studies the multi-objective evaluation system, at the same time, analysis of multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method shortcomings. On this basis, the development of intelligent fuzzy evaluation system will be intelligent combination of fuzzy inference with an effective evaluation system to improve the objectivity, accuracy and effectiveness.Paper makes of Hangzhou as the background, using previously proposed Bus Rapid Transit Evaluation of theories and mathematical models, for Bus Rapid Transit system in Hangzhou, a comprehensive assessment, pointing out that Hangzhou BRT problems, established in Hangzhou BRT system space and time to develop strategy for the follow-up of the Hangzhou bus rapid transit construction, perfection and development has some guiding significance.
